Will This Real Madrid Star Sign For Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United Side This Summer?

Another Real Madrid star linked with Manchester United?
Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale has reportedly been linked to a move back to England to join Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United. The Welshman has been breath-taking at times for the Los Blancos but struggled to find his place back into the first team after youngsters like Isco, Morata and Asensio had been strong competition for Bale toward the end of the season.
Despite being fit, returning after injury, Bale wasn’t started in the Champions League final which Madrid cruised to victory at Wembley.
It may be have a case of not gambling on a risk in the final, but certainly a player like Bale would literally walk into any other first team in Europe but it wasn’t the case due to Isco’s form.
Therefore, there were speculations of the 27 year old forward leaving the club after he reportedly requested his agents to inform him about Manchester United’s offers.
Bale has insisted that he wants to stay and fight for his place at the Madrid club, who have now won back-to back Champions League titles, with Bale winning it thrice in four seasons.
Playing in a team now that is producing superstars on a regular basis, Bale will have to fight hard to regain his spot back into the team.
Manchester United have made their intentions clear that they will make a bid for Bale, and to make matters interesting, Bale has told his agent to keep him informed if an offer does arise.
Paris have also been linked to Bale but it is more likely that Manchester United would be the final destination that Bale would eventually move to considering the fact that he has played in the Premier League before.
Madrid had paid Tottenham Hotspurs around £85m to secure his signature in 2013 but reports suggested he could available for around £70m this summer.
Further, if Real sign Kylian Mbappe from PSG, that could leave Bale’s spot in serious jeopardy.
Luka Modric has insisted that Bale should remain at the club as any transfer away from Real Madrid could be a step back in a footballer’s career.
Bale’s team-mate who joined Real Madrid the same season he did was quoted saying, “He will do everything for the team and that is the most important thing,” Modric said. “He doesn’t want to be above the team and is very humble.”
Deal or no deal?
Bale is a match winner and there is no doubt in his capabilities. He has already been a great performer on English soil and has proven himself to the world. If the Welsh international is seriously considering a return back to England, this is the right time to do so.
He is still 27 and has some time ahead of him in his career, in which he can probably settle down at a new club and make a name for himself once again. If the attacker feels that he does not want to stay at the Bernabeu, even Zidane might consider a sale and let him leave.
