Gist Of Jose Mourinho’s Presser, Prior to Manchester United’s Clash Against Real Madrid

Jose Mourinho

The Big Final-

The Europa League champs are all set to take on the Champions League holders, in an epic clash on Tuesday evening at the Philip II Arena, Skopje. After securing a narrow win in the previous friendly match between the two sides, the Red Devils will be quite confident that they can do the same in the final of the UEFA Super Cup, with the ambition of winning more silverware and soon.

Jose Mourinho has already made some really good signings in the current transfer window and will be eager to get the combination right, for the upcoming match, prior to the start of the new campaign.

With that said and done, Mourinho talked about a lot of things in his pre-match presser, prior to his big game, including the fact that Jesse Lingard is back to training.

The gist of the Portuguese manager’s comments were talks about the potential signing of Bale in the upcoming days, to which the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss said that if the Welshman wanted to leave the Bernabeu, he would be on top of Mourinho’s wish-list.

Further, there was an update given on the team and which players would be available to represent the Manchester based side tomorrow.

The manager confirmed that Luke Shaw, Ashley Young and Marcos Rojo are the only three players, who are out with an injury and will not be part of the team.

On the other hand, there is some more bad news for the Old Trafford faithful, as their main-man confirmed that Phil Jones and Eric Bailly will also miss the game due to a suspension.

Tim Fosu-Mensah will not be playing as well, as he in probably on his way to another club on loan.

Despite that, the English giants do have a lot of options still, who can perform at the top level and Mourinho will be keen on lifting yet another title with United.

Other Relevant News-

Martin Atkinson will be be the official for Manchester United’s opening day league fixture against West Ham at The Theatre of Dreams. The League Cup holders will want to make a positive start to the new campaign and hopefully the official does not play a part in influencing the result of this fixture.

Both games could help shape the new campaign for the Red Devils and it will be quite important to secure wins in either of them.

More Signings To Come!!

The way Mourinho has spoke about his interest in Bale, could only be an indication of the fact that he is planning to sign more stars in the days to come. He is not done yet in the transfer market and might consider adding another attacking option.

United are trying their best to make an impression in the top flight of English football and the Champions League, a tournament in which they will be making their return the new season.

With signings happening thick and fast, it is not possible to predict which player might end up where eventually.
