Liverpool Feel Things Could Get Out Of Hand Now, As Barca Fans Urge To “Free” Coutinho

Liverpool’s Big Fear Now!!

It seems that the Philippe Coutinho saga to Barcelona may not yet be over, despite the Merseyside club making it clear over and over again that their Brazilian is not for sale. However, the Reds fans are now concerned about their superstar making a public notice to leave the club.

The Catalonian club have already had 4 transfers rejected for the Liverpool play-maker, with £80m, £100m, £120m and the most latest £138m. Further, Coutinho has already handed in his transfer request to leave Liverpool to join the La Liga giants as he fears this may be the only opportunity to play for them.

It certainly is every South American footballers dream to play for Barcelona and Jurgen Klopp’s side are now facing a big problem in terms of Coutinho. The 25 year old midfielder has been the key to breaking down defenses for Liverpool and is an integral part of Klopp’s future plans, which is why this comes as a big blow to Anfield.

Coutinho has also made it clear that he does not want to play for Liverpool anymore, despite the clubs best efforts to keep him. Barcelona have already recruited Borussia Dortmund’s Ousmane Dembele as a replacement for Neymar, but his Brazilian compatriot, Coutinho is still their prime target.

Liverpool believed securing a Champions League spot this season would have given them a boost for securing Coutinho’s services, who signed a new five year deal with the club earlier this year in January.  But with Barcelona losing Neymar to Paris Saint Germain, they have to bring a real top quality player to fill in the boots for a player on the left-wing.

Coutinho seems to be that player, and the main concern for Liverpool now is if Coutinho makes his transfer news public, it will put the club in a shaky position. Fans and staff may get frustrated over the situation and it may not be good for the club as a whole.

Let Him Go?

This is the best opportunity that Liverpool have of cashing in on the Brazilian international and could make a lot of money, by the sale of the talented attacker. If the 25 year old superstar does not wish to stay in England and his “heart” is in Barca, then why not let him just go.

Another story added that the fans of the Spanish giants were urging the Reds to “free” the former Inter Milan man, as they seemed rather desperate to have him at the Nou Camp.

It is a tough call for the English giants themselves, as Coutinho is loved at the Merseyside and the Anfield faithful will not want him to leave this summer, or even in the future.

However, if the player does not wish to stay, what can Klopp do about it? Try to convince him?? Why?? With the money that the club can make from the sale, they can target more “Mane” minded players and destroy any other rival in the country, if not continent. Think about it.
