Lemar To Arsenal?? Is This Actually Going To Happen??
Arsene Wenger’s side are finally set to complete a £45m deal
in order to sign AS Monaco starlet Thomas Lemar following a many negotiations with the French club and the attacker is reportedly ready to have agreed personal terms. Arsenal have been pursuing Lemar very strongly in the recent few weeks but Monaco were proven difficult to negotiate a deal with as they had already sold a few stars from their title winning squad and were reluctant to lose any more players to rival clubs across Europe.
Reports had claimed that Monaco had priced the 21 year old forward at a staggering £80 million to get rid of the London club’s interest after rejecting Arsenal’s latest offer worth in the region of £40m.
Arsenal somehow managed to maintain their interest and the newspaper says that the Gunners have now finally found a breakthrough in negotiations with a £45m deal now believed to being close to completion.
The report suggested that Lemar has been given the green light to wrap-up his move to the Emirates by the end of the week.
This is huge news for Arsenal fans as their excitement would only grow. Lemar would be an excellent addition to Wenger’s squad as he looks to qualify for the Champions League this season and he’d become the club’s third major signing of the summer following the arrivals of striker Alexandre Lacazette and defender Sead Kolasinac.
The French international has been tipped to be one of the most promising young attackers in Europe over the past two years and he scored a total of 14 goals and created 17 assists playing a major role in Monaco’s league title victory last season.
It should be interesting where Wenger fits him in the squad as the versatile player can fall in anywhere in the attacking line.
His partnership with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez should be a treat for Arsenal fans to watch next season if Wenger gets them to remain at the club.
Lemar Is Upset!!
There are claims
that the 21 year old French international was quite upset after his training session with his current side, which once again sparked claims of a potential move to north London for him this summer. It seems that the star wants to leave his native country and look for a new challenge, something that the Gunners can provide him in the seasons to come.
He is still quite young and has a long way to go and can do a lot of big things, under the guidance of Wenger and some of the big guns of the club.
With the player being unhappy with his current situation, it will be up to the north London outfit to capitalize on it and make a move for his services, sooner rather than later.
Whether they are able to do the same or not remains to be seen, though, if there is any sort of update on this news, you can like our FB page
