Match Preview : Manchester City VS Liverpool, The First Real Test For Jurgen Klopp

Manchester City will face off against Liverpool in their fourth Premier League game of the season. Pep Guardiola’s men will go up against a tough Liverpool side who have showed no sign of stopping yet as they have so far picked 7 points in three Premier League game’s after dropping points in the first league game of the season against Watford. Liverpool have played pretty  impressively by beating Crystal Palace 1-0 and they went to hammer the Gunners 4-0. Jurgen Kloop will be delighted with the last two results and will also be happy to see his attacker’s getting on so well and creating a number of chances between them the only area he needs to focus now is the defence as we have seen them give away a good 3-1 lead in the first league game against Watford which they would’ve probably won if not for two badly defended corners resulting in a late equaliser.

As for Pep Guardiola’s side they have so far done good winning two league games out of three and will now face the Merseyside outfit.

The Citizens kicked of their League campaign in a good way as they comfortably beat Premeir League new-comers Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 to pick up those valuable 3 points.

In the second fixture Manchester City faced off against a newly rejuvenated Everton side as Ronald Koeman’s side did good in first half denying any breakthrough for Guardiola’s men after taking the lead but the Citizens despite being a man down fought back and found the back of the net in dying moment’s of the match and managed to hold of the Toffees for a points each.

In the Third fixture of the Premier League Manchester City went against Eddie Howe’a Bournemouth and fared well although they conceded in the first ten minutes but they came back from behind to make it 2-1 and once again taking those 3 point’s.

Pep Guardiola will look to get a win out of this fixture same can be said for Jurgen Kloop’s side as both team’s look to challenge for the League title and in order to achieve the ultimate price both the side’s would look to finish of game’s like these.

Team News-

Manchester City.

The Citizen’s have only two absentees so far as Ilkay Gundogan won’t be available as he is recovering from a long time injury and his fitness is yet to be 100% he will be doubtfull for this game. Captain Vincent Kompany too will not be available for this fixture as he is recovering from a calf injury and is expected to come back by next week. Pep’s side has no new injury concerns and will have most of his first team squad member’s fit and ready for the game on Saturday.

Liverpool.

The Reds have three injury concerns. Adam Lallana is out for long time due to thigh strain and is not expected to make a come back to the squad for a long time.
