Wow! Reports Suggest That Chelsea Are Keen To Sign “The Next Mbappe”

The Huge Story-

The Blues have not managed to bring in their first choice targets in the summer and have lost a few key players as well during the transfer window. Despite that, Antonio Conte’s side are now looking to spend big on 19 year old starlet Florinel Coman from Steaua Bucharest and Chelsea are willing to pay a fee of around £88m to land his services.

Chelsea have spent big in the transfer window but still weren’t able to bring in Romelu Lukaku, who chose Manchester United over his former club.

The London outfit also lost Nemanja Matic to the Red Devils as the key midfielder moved away from Stamford Bridge earlier this season.

Club legend John Terry moved to championship club Aston Villa as he was no longer getting regular football and the club seemed to be moving in a wrong direction until they pulled together a few good results in the Premier League and Champions League.

Having signed Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Danny Drinkwater, Davide Zappacosta and Antonio Rudiger along with Willy Caballero on a free transfer the defending English champions brought in reinforcements but they were still not of extremely high quality.

However, Chelsea scouts are currently monitoring Steaua’s highly rated winger Coman, who is dubbed to be the next Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe, a teenage sensation from AS Monaco, won the Ligue 1 title with the French champions before moving to Paris Saint Germain on loan earlier in the transfer season.

And Steaua owner Gigi Becali has already drawn comparisons to Mbappe with his young prodigy Coman.

The 19 year old Romanian joined Steaua in August from Viitorul Constanta for a fee of just £2m despite Benfica drawing strong interest in the teen. But Becali has inserted a release clause of £88m for Coman which goes on to prove the way Steaua value him.

Coman is probably a like for like replacement for Eden Hazard, who could be set to leave for Real Madrid in the coming few transfer windows. Despite Chelsea’s efforts to keep the Belgian star, a move to the European champions is always a cloud looming over any top players head.

Coman has also been capped 5 times for his U-21 Romania side and has impressed massively. The winger has is known for his dribbling and pace on the flanks and Chelsea may just break the bank and spend £88m for the 19 year old star in the next transfer window.

The Editor’s Word-

The Londoners do not need to sign such costly players, as they already have a lot of high quality stars which they have not been utilizing in the recent years. They have been selling some of their key stars from the youth team, which has not been good from the youth team’s point of view, as the young starlets might now be reluctant to join the Blues, if they do not start making proper use of the talent from their academy.

A lot of first team stars from the youth team are sent out on loan and never seem to make it to the first side. If that is the case, these players could be assets to other big sides, who may buy them at the end. Dominic Solanke’s sale to Liverpool is a good example of this, though the attacker has not really been able to perform at his best thus far.
