Why This Match Against Bournemouth Is The Make Or Break Game For This Arsenal Star!!

Arsenal

Mesut Ozil has showed the Arsenal faithful what he is capable of in terms of delivering for Arsene Wenger a superb display of football in games over the past few seasons. The Gunners have secured win after win, lifting a couple of FA Cups back to back in recent times and the German World Cup winner, along with Alexis Sanchez has been responsible for creating a lot of goals, scored in those competitions by the Gunners.

The Emirates stadium has celebrated a long history of triumphs over the years and the two play-makers have surely added more joy to it, making the fans and the French manager proud.

However, one man who was nearly forgotten by Arsene Wenger and almost left the club a couple of times for good has been Jack Wilshere, for whom this game is a make or break game for a few reasons.

The player who has been slowly reviving his career with the north London side needs to really make an impact in this game and steer them home, with all three points in the bag.

First, Wilshere has to prove to the world that he can hold his own without some of the other big names and that he can earn wins for Arsenal, in the top flight of English football, playing alongside many of these youngsters.

Next, he has the responsibility of not just playing long balls, but making runs and scoring goals as well, a talent that he will need for the years to come, if he wishes to remain at the Emirates. He will be the guiding force or mentor to many of these players, once Ozil and Sanchez will leave. The departure of both these top stars has been on the cards for quite some time and whether they go now or in the summer, the England international will be the man to turn to.

The next fact is that the midfielder will be under scrutiny, as he tries to earn a World Cup spot and it will be these games, which actually give the biggest chance to impress and make a name for himself once again.

Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette are in the team as well for the game, with the latter trying his best to score. Along with these two, it is Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott, who will also want to make an impact.

Let’s hope for the best, as the north London outfit try to score a goal in the second half with the first half ending the same way that some of their recent games have been, goalless.

Latest Update-

Hector Bellerin has already scored a goal for the visitors, who will want to add a few more and seal the game, as Liverpool get all set to face off against Manchester City in the upcoming fixture of the night. The Cherries won’t go down that easy, but it will be up to Wenger’s team to dig deep and score as many goals as possible, so that even if the hosts do manage to get one back, it won’t matter too much.
