Arsenal Star Gives Huge Update On His Future

The future of the Arsenal Goalkeeper David Ospina is at stake. The Gunners are now out of the contention of FA Cup and have recently lost against Manchester City in the Final of Carabao Cup. They are going to face AC Milan in the next round of UEFA Europa League. They are now at sixth position in the League Table of the Premier League. The Premier League is the most competitive League in this World and Arsenal are now have very rare chances left to finish in the top four positions in this season’s League Table. So, the chance of getting the chance to play in the UEFA Champions League next season is going to be difficult for them day by day.

In this circumstances of the club, David Ospina broke out of the silence and told that he might not be a part of the squad anymore for Arsenal in the next season. Petr Cech is undoubtedly the first choice Goalkeeper for the Gunners for last few seasons. Ospina had joined Arsenal in 2014-15 season from the Ligue 1 side Nice. He has been always remained as the second choice Goalkeeper for Arsenal from the beginning. But the Goalkeeper has the potential to be the first choice Goalkeeper in any top club of Europe. So the player now wants to prove his potential in the next season by joining in a top club of Europe.

On the other hand, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who had been in search of a quality midfielder since the summer window last time, was highly linked to Ligue 1 star Thomas Lemar. As the transfer process never stepped forward, it seems the Frenchman has decided to move to another choice.

A Frenchman to a Frenchman. Arsene Wenger has recently showed great interest to another France international. The attacking midfielder who had been sensational with his performance this season. With 21 goals and 6 assists in 31 appearances, this lad is becoming one of the shining star of Ligue 1. Nabil Fekir, the Lyon midfielder is in the list of Arsenal to cherish in the summer window next.

Arsenal need to tie him fast. He can be proved costly after the World Cup. Arsenal is preparing a bid of £45m to pen his signature as soon as possible. The Gunners had gone through breaking their tradition, splashing millions to bring in strikers like Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. So it won’t be a surprising scenario if the Gunners bid a huge money after the 24-year-old too.

It is reported that Spanish big names like Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested in the young midfielder. Though Arsenal is not a poor club at all with years of tradition and history, but may they fall short economically before clubs of this stature. So they should work fast to sign him before anyone else could.

Arsene Wenger never gave Ospina, the opportunity to flourish in Arsenal anyday. He always took Ospina as the second choice Goalkeeper. Now the player wants to be first thing choice and hence it could prove be a great move by David Ospina.
