Three Arsenal Players To Watch Out For In The Game Against AC Milan

Arsenal will face AC Milan in the round of 16 of Europa League on Thursday at Emirates. It will be a real tough game for AC Milan to come back in the match as they are already 2 Goals behind in this tie in the first leg. The match is going to be highly interesting as the players of the Gunners might be overconfident about going through to the next round; but the AC Milan attacking lineup is really strong to break any defense of the World football any day. It will also be a managerial battle between Arsene Wenger and Gattuso. The result will subsequently decide their future for the respective clubs as both the clubs have only one chance to win one silverware in this season by winning the Europa League.

David Ospina will play as the Goalkeeper for the Gunners. Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny and Monreal will be there in the defense for them. The midfield of Arsenal will comprise of two defensive midfielders Granit Xhaka and Mohamed Elneny. Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will play as attacking midfielders in the team for the Gunners while Danny Welbeck will be there as the lone man upfront for them. Donnarumma will start in the AC Milan Goal while Ricardo Rodriguez, Romagnoli, Bonucci and Borini will be there in the defense for them. Biglia, Kessie and Boaventura will be there in the Midfield for them. The trio of Suso, Cutrone and Calhanoglu will play at the upfront of the field for AC Milan.

In the match against AC Milan, we have three players to watch out from the Arsenal side who will take them to the next round of Europa League. Here are those three players:

1.Mesut Ozil :

Arsenal’s playmaker Mesut Ozil should be the player to watch out for in the match against AC Milan. His dribbling ability, shooting from long range and ability to provide beautiful through passes to the forwards will be pivotal for the Gunners to go through to the next round of Europa League. AC Milan’s defense will surely have to mark Mesut Ozil properly. Otherwise, the game could go out of reach for the Milan side.

  1. Henrikh Mkhitaryan :

The new winter signing of the Gunners, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is one of the key players to watch out for in this form. AC Milan are behind in this tie with 2 away Goals. They will try to attack from the very first minute of the match. The Gunners have to capitalize on the chances, they will get in the counter attacks. Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be the man to start those counters with pace and his combination with Mesut Ozil is going to be vital for the Gunners in this match.

  1. Laurent Koscielny :

The defense of the Gunners will be tested properly in this match. AC Milan have no option other than attacking for the very first moment of the match. The duo of Koscielny and Mustafi will have to be solid at the back for Arsenal to see their team go through to the next round of the Europa League.
