Liverpool Get An Update On The Future Of The Defender They Are Trying To Sign

When you are a midfielder, your demand will always be high. With that if you got talent then do anyone need to promote you? As the summer window approaches, clubs across Europe are preparing their funds to pick the best according to their budget. According to the reports, Liverpool is after the Anderlecht defensive midfielder Leander Dendoncker this summer. The Belgium international was the primary target of West Ham, where the German manager Jurgen Klopp is reported to cash money to pip West Ham signing.

Dendoncker has been impressive for Anderlecht for the previous couple of seasons and continued his form for the Pro League outfit. The summer window may witness the departure of Emre Can from Anfield with his contract expiration at Liverpool. A move for Dendoncker would be tailor fit match for Liverpool as the replacement of the German midfielder. The Belgian 22-year-old can fit at both Central and defensive midfield position.

Juventus and Bayern Munich are the sides who fiercely have linked with the German international. They need a solid midfielder and Can is a perfect choice. Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta recently told the an Italian news agency about Bianconeri priority on Can over Arsenal’s Wilshere. He said that it is well known that they are targeting Can and he would be their prime goal if he agrees.

The Midfielder was keen to land in Premier League as West Ham showed efforts to land him in England. The Belgian was heavily linked with a move to London Stadium back in January, yet the Hammers couldn’t complete the deal despite of their need to strengthen their middle half. However, it seems the Hammers are going to face a tough challenge due to late arrival of the Reds. The midfielder also wanted a move East London but the club didn’t meet his tag of £20m. The Hammers offered £4.4m in each installments of two, which means a total of £8.8m at the end of the campaign.

Liverpool have already sealed the signature of RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, who is all determined to provide the German manger a more rounded engine room. Keita delivered a magical night in their 2-1 victory over Bayern on Sunday, where he both scored and assisted.

Dendoncker is expected to be a more regimented defensive midfielder than anybody in Liverpool. Can seems similar, but got different in style. Dendoncker has got now an open field to land in the English League, whether it is West Ham or Liverpool, it would be a great opportunity for the young Belgian to shine in future.

Anderlecht would be more likely to sell their assets at the end of the season rather than midway through the campaign, and Liverpool’s interest may engrowth his market even higher.

Liverpool are now third in position in Premier League table with 63 points and seems quite strong contender to finish in top 3. They are gonna face Crystal Palace up next in Premier League, but foremost it is the Champions League draw where the world is eyeing at.

Liverpool will face Premier League leaders Manchester City in Champions League round of 8, which will be a really fixture for them, though whichever wins that match will be a top contender to lift the title this time around.
