The Belgium international was the primary target of West Ham, where the German manager Jurgen Klopp is reported to cash money to pip West Ham signing.
Dendoncker has been impressive for Anderlecht for the previous couple of seasons and continued his form for the Pro League outfit. The summer window may witness the departure of Emre Can from Anfield with his contract expiration at Liverpool. Anderlecht would be more likely to sell their assets at the end of the season rather than midway through the campaign, and Liverpool’s interest may engrowth his market even higher.
