Manchester United Get An Update On David De Gea’s Potential Replacement, Guess Who

Now this is something which born back in 2015 and now once again get fumigated, where the summer window is approaching near.Manchester United star goalkeeper David De Gea and Real Madrid seems to be the couple live in long distant. They want to be together, but circumstances come in between them.

According to a Spanish outlet, this Spaniard has spoken to Madrid president Florentino Perez about driving a move in the summer. He is all clear about his wish to be in Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid has finally set on bringing De Gea to replace Keylor Navas. Manchester United Goalkeeper De Gea has been linked with the ‘La Decima’ side for quite a long time. He almost became a ‘Los Blancos’ back in August 2015 on a dramatic transfer deadline day, but never happened, due to a supposedly faulty fax machine.

The Spanish outlet also depicts that United manager Jose Mourinho won’t let his shit stopper go, despite of his desire to leave Old Trafford. De Gea, one of the best goalkeepers of the era, knows that Mourinho has set a list of three players in exchange of him.

Manchester United have been considering a possibility of demanding play-makers Marco Asensio or Isco or former United target and central midfielder Toni Kroos in exchange of De Gea. No sources has reported about whether United would charge a mammoth amount or not, but it is sure that Mourinho wouldn’t let him go without finding any other replacement.

As per the market whispers, Mourinho will bid all the money earned by De Gea for the Barcelona last man saviour Marc Stegen. Mourinho, who is also a good friend of Perez, since his time in charge in the capital of Spain, confessed him about his plan to go all out for Stegen, with departure of De Gea from Old Trafford.

The German sweeper keeper has flourished into a calibre of excellence after his arrival at Camp back in 2014. Mourinho has been an admirer of the former Borussia Monchengladbach man, who can surely fill the void of De Gea at United. He has been strong and helped to win many critical games for Barcelona.

Where the German keeper extended his contract until 2022 last season, has raised his release clause to a massive £166 million, which is undoubtedly a mountain to climb.

Ter Stegen is not the only Barcelona guy Mourinho is after. In course to ‘park the strongest bus’ he needs the frenchman Samuel Umtiti.

On the other hand, Real Madrid has been agreed on to pay a massive £70m for the 27-year-old, De Gea, who is also a product of the academy system of rivals Atletico Madrid. Despite of the current overrated streak of the transfer window, Los Blancos believe, Manchester City’s Ederson – at £34.7m- is the most expensive ‘keeper ever.

If David De Gea move takes place in reality, then it may offer double of the current biggest fee ever spent on a goalkeeper and the second most United have ever received, surpassing £80m move of Cristiano Ronaldo to Santiago Bernabeu.
