Manchester United Now Want Top Star, With Arsenal, Liverpool And Tottenham In The Race Too

Jose Mourinho

Transfer window is like a rivalry, kind of a challange. It is the place where you can beat your opposition by signing up their choices or alternatives. Though Manchester United is struggling this season, but they were tactical enough to beat Liverpool last time, and it seems that the rivalry is gonna peak into another level in the upcoming Summer window.

German youngster Timo Werner is just 22, but has done enough to converge the spotlight on him. This Leipzig striker is the future of Germany Football team and big guns of Europe has already shown massive interests in making him their own.

European champions Real Madrid have this hottest property of Bundesliga on their list this summer, as they are looking into bringing new face at Bernabeu. Premier League teams are not too far too.

Tottenham and Arsenal have also had scouts watching him in the league games as well, though nothing seems to be certain yet.

Bad luck to Spurs and Wenger, the German ace, who has scored 16 goals in all competition for Leipzig this season, has admitted about his fascinations about the north-west rivals United and Liverpool.

Werner already declared his desire to be at Old Trafford and try his luck in the Premier League, though Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp could have something to say about that.

He said that playing in Premier League would be a dream for him and he would like to play in two or three clubs there, where Manchester United are one of them. But this may not occur in current few years as he believes his English is still weak and he is quite comfortable at Leipzig.

Werner is being impressed seeing the heritage and history of Manchester United. He said that when Alex Ferguson was the coach, United won everything and were outstanding and it attracts him more.

Werner’s current deal runs up to 2020 with Leipzig, but the club would demand at least £50m for the German forward.

Though it was only side of the story yet. The speculations of possible transfer got scattered when Werner came out with a supporting statement in recent weeks that next year, he is definitely staying at Leipzig. Now this is quite a fatal blow for the United.

United are out of Champions League but will earn the tickets to play in next one if finish the league where they are now. Jose Mourinho has only one choice which is to put up a better title-fight against the arch rival neighbours next time by signing even more world-class talents.

Werner would be a right call for the Red Devils as he is one of the hottest property of Europe this current time and following the footsteps of Miroslav Klose and Thomas Mueller for the German national team. It is expected from him to represent his country in World Cup.

Werner is a versatile forward who can fit into any place on the final third, whether it is the flanks or as a lone striker. His vision for goals at this age with a turn of pace makes him lethal for the opposition. Stuttgart-born attacker appeared at Red Bull Arena in June 2016 and managed to score 38 times in 67 all around appearances for the Bulls.
