Shocking: Could This Be The End Of This Top Manchester United Star Player?

Jose Mourinho

This article may make his fans melancholy, but what is truth shall never be hidden. The man who is known by his off field arrogant statements as well as on field outbursting model as a centre forward. The Greek God appearance with signature of ‘scorpion kick’, the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Old Trafford is about to end this summer.

Ibrahimovic joined the Red Devils on July 1 2016 as a free agent on a one year contract, with a salary of £200,000 per week. Since then, he managed to score 17 times and guided his side to clinch the Europa League last time. Where he started his career in Manchester United with No.9, this season he was handed the prestigious No.10, but can a man overcome his destiny?

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has recently confirmed that the 36-year-old Swedish striker is leaving this summer. He has never appeared on field since he was substituted in the Boxing Day draw match with Burnley. Ibra is now has only four months left in his contract at Trafford and according to the sources, United management is not showing any interest to extend his presence.

The former PSG star is suffering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury, which he received nearly 10 months ago and things went worse as he tried to return on field without treating it completely.

Zlatan has been heavily linked with MLS side LA Galaxy and spoke exclusively at a media event in Stockholm on thursday night.

The Portuguese manager has already declared that he is preparing his third season at Old Trafford without Zlatan. He also told that the ongoing season will be the last one for Zlatan here and after that it is his decision to continue his career or not. He added that Zlatan is an amazing player and he could have an amazing career here (Old Trafford) also, but that awful injury in the wrong moment broke the fantastic streak. It is difficult for him.

May be the time has come when the European football may farewell this outstanding finisher. Zlatan has passed through a mesmerising career yet. Starting from Ajax, he has played in big guns of Europe like Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan and PSG, where his career best 113 goals came in just 122 games.

On the other hand, the future of Marouane Fellaini is also on doubt, who is also going out of the contract this summer, but Mourinho seems no worried little worried about. He said that Fellaini is a different story. He is still a young player and has undergone a minor knee surgery. Mourinho is confident about his comeback in the next round of Champions League if they can pass the Sevilla barrier, a hypothetical FA Cup semi final and the last flights of Premier League. Mourinho is clear about his needs that the club needs him, though he didn’t open his tongue about why hasn’t sign a renewal yet.

Manchester United is gonna face Crystal Palace and Liverpool next in Premier League.
