Liverpool Want This Midfield Star, Being Heavily Linked With Reds For Quite Some Time Now

Liverpool are among the clubs of the English League who believes more in young talents than established old brats. Year after year, the Anfield based club has produced such world class players that no one could imagine to exist. In recent times, the emerging of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are the best examples to establish them as on of the producers of the young talent. Despite that, the Reds have failed to win the league title and more.

 

Liverpool is already full of beans after roasting Manchester City in Champions League this week on Wednesday and seems to be busy in finding their future potentials.

As the Summer approaches, The Reds are getting busy to recruit their new targets. According to the rumours being buzzed in England, Jurgen Klopp is plotting a move for the Monaco wonder-kid Christian Koffi.

Koffi, who has been tagged as ‘the next Sadio Mane’ by a french newspaper has got a lot of potentials to flourish in the backyards of Anfield. The teenager is going out of contract at the end of this season that may help Klopp to pick him in a minimal cash.

 

Koffi is a product of Monaco academy. He helped the under 17s to claim the second place the last season. He is being regarded as the replacement of Thomas Lemar, after whom Klopp has been for a long time, so are Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona. Koffi is versatile lad, who can play both as a central midfielder or out wide and has figured for Monaco in the UEFA Youth League this season too. Koffi is the subject of interest of many top European clubs, but Liverpool are believed to be in pole position to grab him up.

 

Featuring in Liverpool would be a ‘dreams come true’ for the teenager as he will get a chance to train under Steven Gerrard himself. It is reported that the English side is still keen to get the star midfielder Thomas Lemar this summer.

The winger though admitted that he felt little disappointed that the deal fell down. He said that once it is over he doesn’t want to think about it twice. He added that he just want to keep his hard work on so that these top European clubs come back again to give him offers. He is open to all. He can join anywhere.

 

Liverpool are also interested in 15-year-old Belgian winger Jeremy Doku who is currently in Anderlecht’s U17s. He is left footed and can arrive in England very soon.

 

Liverpool are now at third position in the Premier League points table with 67 points from 33 matches. They are one of the stiff competitors who ask to finish in top three. Though the way to Champions League next year seems to be smoother for them as they thrashed the favourites, the Premier League leaders Manchester City in round of eight first leg with 3-0 lead. Mohamed Salah, Chamberlain and Sadio Mane scored for the Reds. Though they delivered a frustrating draw at Goodison Park today, still seems to be strong both at will and power.
