Robert Lewandowski Agrees Terms With Chelsea, Ahead Of Confirmed Summer Move

In a shocking turn of events, it has been confirmed that Bayern Munich star striker Robert Lewandowski has agreed a deal with the champions of England, Chelsea. The attacker who recently scored a hat-trick for the Bundesliga outfit has now confirmed that he will be moving to Stamford Bridge at the end of the current campaign, though the fee has not been confirmed yet.

The west London outfit were in desperate need of adding more fire-power to their attack, though it was still not decided which player would be signed till now, with a host of targets being monitored. There were claims of the Poland international’s potential move to the Bridge, though there was not much substance in them so far and Chelsea were not able to confirm a deal prior to today.

However, it seems that now there has been a confirmation on the player’s part, who has stated that the move is on at the end of the current season. This will be really positive news for the fans of the club, as they will hope that now Antonio Conte can stay back and work with the likes of this world-class attacker and help the team, lift more titles including the Champions League.

This season has not really been the best for the Londoners, who are still alive in the FA Cup and if they fail to win that, will have a trophyless campaign. On the other hand, Bayern will be hoping that they can win the Champions League, along with a host of other titles and retain the striker’s services.

The Blues will have to spend big in order to secure the services of the player, who is wanted by the likes of Real Madrid as well, with Zidane looking to improve from this season’s horrific showing.

Champions League football will also be a key factor in determining whether or not the player does join Chelsea or play elsewhere in the seasons to come. The 29 year old superstar could add the missing flare to the team, which has been missing since Morata hit a slump and the departure of Michy Batshuayi.

If he does sign for the Premier League holders, their chances of beating the likes of Manchester City really increases and they can finally fill the void of Diego Costa’s departure.

On the other hand, Bayern will try their best to keep hold of him, but if he does indeed wish to leave the club, they will have to look to cash in on him. The player has a lot of admirers in top managers and will be a wanted man if he is available at the end of the current campaign. It will be a tough call for him, but the temptation to play in the world’s most much-watch league does drag people to England. Hopefully, he can settle down soon at the club and make a name for himself, as he has done previously with Borussia Dortmund and now Bayern.

The Chelsea fans will hope that the club can pull this miraculous deal off and give them some joy finally in the transfer market, which reminds me, Happy Easter and A Happy April Fool’s Day!!
