As the current season is heading to its ultimate farewell, the preparations for the next season among the clubs are getting very busy. All wants to repair the faults and write a new manuscript which may lead them to the most awaited success. The Wolves are leading the Championship table and will definitely be promoted in the Premier League next season. The man in the center, Ruben Neves, who is one of the reason behind Wolves’ success is highly linked with top Premier League teams specially with Liverpool. The Portuguese has six goals and one assists this season yet and has got a lot more potential than that. The 21-year-old midfielder is being scouted by top tier English teams who participates in European football but will he leave his roots for the utmost glory?
Manchester United and Liverpool, both are looking at strengthening their midfield departments. Both the clubs are suffering from contract renewal issues with their centre midfielders. Liverpool are still yet to sign deal with the German midfielder Emre Can and there are chances of fears that he may leave Anfield as top rated European clubs like Juventus, Real Madrid and Manchester City are all linked.
On the other hand, United is facing the prospect of losing Marouane Fellaini, who has not put anything to paper despite Jose Mourinho’s plea. United is gonna miss Michael Carrick at the end of the year, who is hanging up his boots. Neves has emerged as one of the brightest young potentials of European football, after a mesmerising season in Championship.
The Portuguese arrived at the Molineux last summer in a deal close to £16m but don’t get wrong thoughts seeing the money, he has lived up to the lofty expectations on him. Though the Porto man has never expressed any intentions to leave the Molineux at least for before the next season ends. As he said that he went there (Molineux) to help the club and the club has helped him as well. He also said that he thinks he has achieved all his goals, as an individual and as a team. He added that It is normal as big clubs see their work, not just him but all the boys, but he is really happy there (Wolves).
He made it clear that he wants to stay with Wolves and he wants to enjoy the Premier League with this fantastic club. The £15.8m Portuguese was included in the PFA Championship Team of the Year. He was also nominated for both EFL Championship Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards. Not only Neves, there are many Championship stars who are being proposed from the first tier Premier League clubs. Ryan Sessegnon, James Maddison, Jack Grealish are the rising stars after whom clubs like Manchester United, Leicester City are going after. Maddison is 21 years old and has 14 goals and eight assists in his bag this season for the Canaries. And the best part is he is rewarded with his first England under-21 cap recently.
