Wonder-Kid Wanted By Manchester United, Will The Red Devils Be Able To Sign Him?

Jose Mourinho

The transfer window is always a fascinating event to live observe being a football lover. You will see many unexpected things to happen, whether many expected things fail to take place. It was breathtaking season for Manchester United simply outgunned by their arch rival Manchester City in the Premier League. Though the Old Trafford army managed to win most of the games against the top tier teams of Premier League but lost many crucial games at the deciding moments. They were defensive against the so called smaller budget teams and may be that’s why will probably finish at second position in the league run this season being a gigantic 24 points short from the City. Mourinho is looking to realign his side for the next season as United may face a trophyless season this time, unless they overpower Chelsea at the FA cup final. The two big buyouts for the Red Devils proved how important it was for the United at that moment. Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez proved useful.

United is in search of a potential side back and it seems the Fulham boy is their one of the major targets. The left back showed some extraordinary performances in the Championship this season. Ryan Sessegnon, who has netted 17 times and have six assist in his bag is the prime target of United. Not only United, top Premier League teams like Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are also interested to pick this teenager in. The Director Trading department of ‘Betstar’,  Ian Marmion said that it is expected that Fulham wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon will be this summer’s hottest transfer target. After wowing a number of Premier League giants with his blistering performances in the Championship this season, he deserves to have the price he is worth of.

According to Marmion, Manchester United are the favourites to have the side back and they have leapfrogged Tottenham in the race for Sessegnon. United has targeted the 17-year-old as a long-term solution at left-back. The Portuguese manager’s are in extreme position to snatch the prolific goal-scorer if Fulham fail to gain promotion to the Premier League this season. Liverpool and Tottenham are also their to offer stiff competition for United, but it seems  they must try by blood and fire to sign the England U21 international. Though it could also be a bad news for all of them as Sessegnon may stay at Fulham and sign a contract renewal. As he said earlier that he knows he would play more games in Fulham than elsewhere, which is important at his age in order to keep developing. Such a smart boy! Isn’t he!

The Red Devils have an FA Cup final coming up that they will want to win at any cost, as they look to end the current campaign on a high They will be up against a resilient Chelsea side, who will themselves be looking for a title this term, with Conte rumoured to be heading for a Stamford Bridge exit.

It will be interesting to see how the campaign ends, with the Blues failing to finish in the top four and United being the happier side, looking to add more quality.
