Confirmed: Chelsea Want Juventus Trio After Golovin Transfer Failed

Chelsea were firm favorites’ to sign CSKA Moscow star Aleksandr Golovin after his wonderful campaign in the FIFA World Cup back in his homeland, Golovin also attracted interests from Spanish Giants FC Barcelona, Italian powerhouse Juventus and Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco, British media even went far out and said that Chelsea have completed the transfer of the Russian International from CSKA Moscow but turns out everything was false as Aleksandr Golovin snubbed the South West London Club and signed for AS Monaco and his agent stated that that French side offered a much more favorable conditions and a more understanding sports project for their prized asset.

Sarri has already decided to raid his homeland and the Blues have also shortlisted the players they are going to sign ahead of the new transfer deadline day (9th August). Juventus trio Daniele Rugani, Marlem Pjanic and Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain are the players who have been chalked out by the new Blues boss.

Rugani and Higuani have already played under Sarri, The former got his breakthrough under Sarri as he featured regularly for Empoli he made 78 appearances for them and was a star defender and the Italian knows him well enough that he has given the green light to the deal, Juventus have slapped a staggering €55m on the 23 year old Italian international but the Blues are determined in landing the center back at any cost.

Marlem Pjanic is also set to leave the Serie A champions this season as Juventus probably fear FFP sanctions after their recent acquisition of Los Blancos superstar Cristiano Ronaldo for a whopping price of €105m, Pjanic could perfectly blend into the Chelsea midfield and he could be very well suited to Sarri’s style of play with Jorginho partnering him in the heart of the midfield he could be a hit at the Stamford Bridge. But once again the Italian club has put up a €100m price tag on their star midfielder which could get the Blues persuasion of the Bosnian hit a stumbling road block.

Gonzalo Higuain is another name being bought up regularly at London. The Argentine had one of the most amazing campaign of his career under Maurizio Sarri. Higuain scored a record breaking 38 goals in just 42 appearances for the Gli Azzurri’s in the 2015/16 season. Juventus are yet to evaluate the Forward but they could very well let him go under €50m considering his age and that’s the best deal on the cards for the club if they decide to cash in on him but they could propose a swap deal consisting of former player Alvaro Morata, but after just one season in England it wouldn’t be fair to the Spaniard if they sell him and who knows what he could achieve under the new management.

Maurizio Sarri has a very different style of play from his compatriot and former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte who is know to use a very direct approach and counter attacking football. Sarri prefers the Tiki-Taka kind of football but not exactly the same Barcelona or Pep Guardiola use. Tika-Taka is used to make passes through anywhere of the field side to side and through the either flanks but Sarri is the Pioneer of “Sarri-ball” brand of football, The aim here is to channel the ball forward and not through the side’s.
