Juventus Want To Sign This Manchester United Target, Should Mourinho Get Him First?

Jose Mourinho

The rumours were very much strong that Manchester United would sign one centre back in this summer transfer window. There were many reports in Italy which were suggesting now that the AC Milan centre back Leonardo Bonucci was in the radar of the Red Devils few days back in this summer transfer window. The recent reports are suggesting that another Serie A side Juventus are eyeing to make a move for Bonucci, as the player wants to rejoin his previous club in this transfer window, despite Mourinho’s interest in him.

Leonardo Bonucci is considered as one of the best centre backs in the whole World right now. The Italian centre back has decided to leave Juventus in the previous summer transfer window. But, he wished to stay in Italy; so he joined AC Milan one season ago. Now, the player is desperate to make a return to his former side as Juventus will go all out in the next season to win the Champions League. They have signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid with a transfer fee worth £105m in this summer transfer window. The addition of Cristiano Ronaldo has strengthened the Juventus side to another level.

Now, the reports in Italy are also stating that Juventus are trying to push their star centre forward Gonzalo Higuain too in this summer transfer window to reduce the transfer fee of the player. The transfer fee of Leonardo Bonucci might be around £50 million in this summer transfer window. If Juventus are able to push Gonzalo Higuain in this deal, the deal can be done smoothly. Otherwise, the negotiations will go on for a good amount of time.

Manchester United now have to go for another centre back in this summer transfer window as the hope of roping Leonardo Bonucci in this summer transfer window is almost done and dusted as of now. The reports in England are suggesting that, the Red Devils will now go for the Tottenham Hotspur’s centre back Alderweireld in this summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are going to build a strong squad in the next season. Manchester United have to sign one or two World class players to be one of the top contenders to win the Premier League in the next season. But, here comes the record of the Manchester United’s manager Jose Mourinho. The history and the statistics are showing that, Jose Mourinho was never successful in his third season for a single club in his whole managerial career and as a result of it, he has to be sacked most of the times in his career so far.

Manchester United have so far signed only the Brazilian star midfielder Fred who was also in the squad of Brazil in the World Cup. Though, he was unable to get any chance to show his potential in the field in this World Cup. Now, the club management will be desperate to make a new signing in this summer transfer window to compete against the top European clubs in the Champions League in the next season.
