Breaking: Wilfried Zaha To Chelsea, Is This Deal Happening Now?

Antonio Conte is now sacked at Stamford Bridge and a new era is on its verge to have a kickoff. The former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri has joined the Blues and now it’s his job to pull the side up again. Chelsea had a disappointing season last time as they finished at fifth position. The FA cup winner side will faced Premier League side Manchester City for the Shield this week. Chelsea are having a silent window so far as the only big name they have signed is Jorginho for a five years deal. According to the recent rumours, the Crystal Palace attacking midfielder Wilfried Zaha is being rumoured to join Chelsea this season. Palace are trying their best to keep their hold on the Ivory Coast international. They have also offered him a lucrative offer of a £125,000-a-week deal to make him stay at Palace.

Though the 25-years-old seems to follow the brighter path awaiting in front him joining one of the beasts of Premier League. The former player of the year for Palace has already rejected a move to Everton earlier this summer. He was also with the United though it made him loaned out three times in two years.

Living in London wouldn’t be a problem for the attacking midfielder as he has been there since he was four. Sides like Manchester United, Tottenham and Everton are after the midfielder though Chelsea are leading the race according to the recent rumours.

Moreover, Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is having a headache with Brazilian midfielder Willian is heavily linked with a big money deal to Manchester City and Barcelona, where Eden Hazard is also being rumoured for a forced move to Real Madrid. Now it seems the Italian has eyes over to Selhurst Park to potentially replace two of his biggest stars.

Zaha is also reported to be keen on the move to joto Chelsea. Zaha would be their third signing of the window after Jorginho and Rob Green joined the club. It was reported that Zaha seemed concerned by the lack of signings at Palace in the early part of the summer though he may feel encouraged by the arrivals this week of Cheikhou Kouyate and Max Meyer. The 22-year-old German midfielder joined on a free transfer from Schalke this season and he is regarded as one of the exciting European talents in recent times.

The 25-year-old Ivory Coast midfielder bagged nine goals and three assists last term though he missed five weeks of the season being injured. Tottenham and Everton are also after the Palace guy. Though according to the recent rumours they are now trying to sign Aston Villa player Jack Grealish.

Zaha would be a valuable addition for the Blues if they manage to do the deal. Chelsea needed some alternatives and he could be the man.

Also, Zaha could possibly start off for Palace against Toulouse at Selhurst Park on Saturday in their final pre-season friendly. Palace will start the new season against Fulham at Craven Cottage next Saturday.
