Chelsea Vs Huddersfield : Talking Points Of The Match, Guess Who Scored For The Blues

Are we actually witnessing the ‘Sarriball’ rolling? Yes, the season of Chelsea have began with a fascinating win against Huddersfield Town with a margin of 3-0. Kante, Jorginho and Pedro have netted for the Blues to give them all three points in the first match of the season for the Blues in the Premier League. Here are the talking points of the match between Chelsea and Huddersfield Town :

1.N’Golo Kante Scored The Opening Goal For The Blues :

With Alvaro Morata continuously showing his poor form, the Chelsea fans might get some relief from the Goal of N’Golo Kante. The former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has always used N’Golo Kante as a defensive midfielder in his 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 formation. N’Golo Kante never got the opportunity to play his free flowing football under the management of Antonio Conte. But, the things have changed this season for the Frenchman after the arrival of Jorginho from Napoli. The new manager of the Blues, Maurizio Sarri is preferring to play with a 4-3-3 formation where Jorginho is playing the role of the deep lying midfielder. So, N’Golo Kante has got the opportunity to go upfront freely. The Blues were desperate to get the first goal of the match. Willian has provided a brilliant ball towards N’Golo Kante and Kante did no mistake to put the ball into the net. The goal will surely boost up N’Golo Kante in future and he will surely go up in the field in the upcoming games of the season too.

  1. Calm Headed Penalty Kick By Jorginho :

After getting the first goal of the match, the Blues were looking so much confident in the field. It was seeming that, all of a sudden they are playing such a great football in the pitch. Marcos Alonso has continued to go up the field and got the result too. There was a bad foul on Marcos Alonso in the penalty box and a penalty was rightly awarded to Chelsea. Jorginho stepped up to take the penalty and his calm headed penalty has helped Chelsea to double their lead in the first half of the match.

  1. Pedro Sealed The Win For Chelsea :

In the second half, Chelsea continued to dominate in the field. There were no real pressure from Huddersfield Town in the second half of the match. They never really gave the much needed push in this match. Ruben Loftus Cheek and Eden Hazard came in the second half of the match for Chelsea. Eden Hazard has again shown what he can do in the field. Just after coming into the match, he has provided a brilliant ball towards Pedro. Pedro did not commit any mistake to score for the Blues in the opening match of the season for Chelsea. The defense were looking solid for the Blues throughout the whole match. Chelsea have got the much needed three points from the opening encounter of the season and Maurizio Sarri will be really happy to see his side playing such a good football in the field.
