Chelsea Star Makes Huge Comments About Manager Maurizio Sarri

Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard has said that it is easy to call new boss Maurizio Sarri “great”. The Belgian international praised the new Blues’ manager for the work that he has done so far with the team, but also pointed out that he will see what the former Napoli coach is like, when the team enters a bad phase.

The west London outfit have been winning games since the start of the new campaign and just had their first draw against West Ham this weekend. This did not go down well with the fans, as there were a lot of chances that they had and the team did not show the extra desire to pick up a win.

It is not that they were disappointed with the result. It was just that the way that the team played was not really satisfying to watch. It was the first draw of the season and is surely acceptable, but with the big games coming up, the team will now have to turn things around.

Next they face Liverpool twice, once in the League cup and again in the top flight of English football and the fans will be hoping that they can really improve from their performance against the Hammers. After a really solid start under Sarri, things can go haywire if a few games do not go right and this is what Hazard was trying to point out, when he spoke in a recent interview.

Speaking to Sky Sports when the 27 year old attacker was asked if he was enjoying life under the new boss, he stated, “Of course.”

“We try to keep the ball. When you are an offensive player you just want to keep the ball.”

“We create a lot of passes and chances. Yesterday we had a bit of trouble [against West Ham] but I think the beginning of the season was great.”

“He is a great manager, but it’s easy to say when you are winning games. We will see in a bad moment. For sure he is a great manager, and he showed that to the world.”

The player who was being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge right through the summer has been in superb form and has scored some brilliant goals for the west London outfit already. He is one of the key players for his team this season and if Chelsea wish to win more titles, Hazard will be one of their main stars.

Sarri will surely know that and will be happy by the fact that his skipper backs him. The play has been built around him on several occasions and it will be interesting to see if the star winger can continue to score for his manager and help his team win more silverware.

Antonio Conte managed to win the league in his debut season and won the FA Cup last term despite all his critics. His compatriot has a huge set of shoes to fill now and has made a positive start. Though, as Hazard himself has said, it will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure when the going gets tough.
