Match Preview : Will Liverpool’s Star Centre-Forward Be Able To Play Against Paris Saint Germain?

Liverpool will play their first match in the Champions League on Tuesday at Anfield as they are going to face Paris Germain. Both the teams will be keen to get the win in this match to kick start the Champions League campaign of this season. The match is surely going to an entertaining one for the football fans all over the World.

Team News :

Liverpool :

Liverpool will not have much problem ahead of their match against Paris Saint Germain. Liverpool are in a comparatively tougher group in the Champions League this season as they will have to compete with Paris Saint Germain and Napoli to get into the top two spots of their group in the Champions League. The only injury that will concern the manager of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp is of his star Brazilian centre forward Roberto Firmino. In the previous match against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, the Belgian centre back Jan Vertonghen has put his finger inside the eyes of the centre forward of Liverpool, Roberto Firmino. Roberto Firmino is one of the key players in the side of Liverpool and the fans will surely wish to watch the Brazilian centre forward to lead the attacking line of Liverpool in this crucial match of the season. The doctors have certified Roberto Firmino to be fit to play in the Champions League match against Paris Saint Germain on Tuesday. But, Jurgen Klopp is still unsure about playing him as it may affect him in long term.

If Roberto Firmino is not able to play in this match, there will be two options in the hand of Jurgen Klopp ahead of the match against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League. The first option will be more preferable to Jurgen Klopp as he might have to play Daniel Sturridge as a perfect replacement of Roberto Firmino in the centre forward role in this match. The other unpopular opinion might be to play Mohamed Salah in more central role and use Xherdan Shaqiri at the right flank. On the other hand, again there will be a dilemma for Jurgen Klopp to choose three central midfielders out of the four. The popular opinion is to swap between Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita in the big match in the Champions League.

Paris Saint Germain :

Neymar and Marquinhos were given rest in the previous match in Ligue 1. But, the manager of the Ligue 1 side, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Neymar will feature against Liverpool at Anfield. The confusion might arise in the mind of Thomas Tuchel to choose between his two Goalkeepers. Areola is now in great form for both his club and country. So he will surely be the first choice to be under the bars for Paris Saint Germain.

Predicted Starting Eleven :
