More Problems For Manchester United Boss Jose Mourinho, Ahead Of The International Break

Jose Mourinho

Manchester United’s manager Jose Mourinho is going to face a suspended one year jail due to the tax fraud case. Jose Mourinho was involved in this tax fraud case at the time of his managerial career at Real Madrid. The case was closed 10 months back. But it has been reopened recently and Mourinho has to pay the fine for this case.

The time is not going in the favour of Jose Mourinho in recent days. His current team Manchester United have suffered two back to back defeats against Brighton and Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. But they came back in the winning way against Burnley on Sunday in the Premier League as their star Belgian centre forward Romelu Lukaku struck twice.

The good time of Jose Mourinho is not lasting long as now he has to face an awkward situation due to this tax fraud case. Cristiano Ronaldo was also involved in some tax fraud case in Spain and it was one of the reasons for his departure from Santiago Bernabeu. Jose Mourinho was able to win the La Liga for Real Madrid in his managerial career at Spain. Under his management, Cristiano Ronaldo was able to be the top scorer of the Spanish League. The Portuguese footballer also won the Ballon D’Or trophy in that season.(2012-13)

After that, Jose Mourinho returned to Chelsea in 2013-14 season. He was not able to win any trophy for Chelsea in that season. The Blues had finished at the third position in the Premier League at that time. In the next season, Jose Mourinho was able to win the Premier League trophy for Chelsea in his second term at the London based club. After that, Jose Mourinho is regarded as one of the best managers in the history of Chelsea if not the best.

Things did not go in his way in his third season at Chelsea. The players were overconfident after the League win and they failed to produce the same performance again in that season.(2015-16) The Blues were on the verge of relegation zone at that time. So, the club management of Chelsea have decided to sack Jose Mourinho after this poor performance.

Jose Mourinho again came back in the Premier League as the manager of Manchester United in 2016-17 season. Manchester United were able to lift three trophies under the management of the Portuguese manager in the first season. Their trophy cabinet included Europa League, Community Shield and League Cup in that season. Despite finishing at sixth position in the Premier League in that season, Manchester United were able to play in the Champions League in 2017-18 season for winning the Europa League. In the previous season, Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United were able to win no trophies. They have finished in the second position in the Premier League table and qualified for the Champions League in this season. But, now Jose Mourinho’s future at Manchester United is very much doubtful. One or two bad results may see him sacked from the English club in this season.
