Champions League Injury Round Up : Update On Liverpool, Manchester City, United And Tottenham Stars

Tottenham

The Champions League is back in the midweek and for the football fans all over the World the midnight football party will be on. A set of big matches are going to happen in this weekend. The biggest game of this weekend will surely be the homecoming of Cristiano Ronaldo as Juventus are going to face Manchester United at Old Trafford. The match is really important for both the sides for Manchester United in terms of qualification from the Group Stage. Manchester United have already collected four points from their two encounters so far in the Group Stage of the UEFA Champions League. They are now at the second position in the League Table in the Group.

It is thought that the main competition of the Red Devils will be against the Spanish side Valencia to finish at the second position in the League Table. Juventus are playing really well in this season. The inclusion of Cristiano Ronaldo in their squad has really strengthened them. They are now at the top of the Table of their Group as the Italian club have won both of their matches in the Group Stage so far. The Red Devils have won their first match in the Group Stage match against Young Boys. In the second match of the Group Stage, the Red Devils have drawn against Valencia at Old Trafford. Now they will face Juventus in two back to back matches in the Champions League. The first match between Manchester United and Juventus will be at Old Trafford and next match will take place at Turin. On the other hand, Valencia will play against Young Boys in these two match days. If the Red Devils lose both the matches against Juventus and Valencia get two wins against Young Boys in both the matches, the situation will be tricky for the Red Devils to qualify from this Group.

On the other hand, Liverpool will lock their horns against Red Star Belgrade in two consecutive matches. After the shocking defeat against Napoli in the previous match-day the Reds will be eager to get two wins against Red Star Belgrade. Then the situation will be easier for them to qualify from this group as the Reds will face Napoli and Paris Saint Germain in the last two match days in the Group Stage of the Champions League. Manchester City will play against Shakhtar Donetsk in this Group Stage match. On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur will play against PSV Eindhoven in this match day of the Champions League. After losing both the matches in the first two encounters in the Group Stage of the Champions League, it is really important for Tottenham Hotspur to win both the matches to go to a good position in the League Table of this Group. On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur will have to wait for the results of both the matches between Barcelona and Inter Milan to see their position in the Group. Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund will also lock their horns against each other on this match day.
