According to the recent reports, four Liverpool players have picked up injury in this International Break. Naby Keita, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk are the four players of Liverpool who are doubtful to play against Huddersfield Town in the Premier League this weekend. Liverpool have an away match in this game week against Huddersfield Town and the match was seeming to be an easy one for the Reds. Liverpool are at the third position in the League with 20 points in their bag. They are still unbeaten in the Premier League as they have won 6 straight matches and earned two draws against Manchester City and Chelsea.

So, they are in good position in the Premier League as of now. But the Reds are out of the Carabao Cup as they have faced a defeat in the third round of the competition at Anfield. They have also faced a defeat in the away match against Napoli in the Group Stage match of the UEFA Champions League. So Jurgen Klopp will not be very much confident about his team in the Premier League match against Huddersfield Town.

There was a time in this International Break when all would have thought Liverpool would face a real problem against Huddersfield Town in this week as most of the key players of the side were injured. Mohamed Salah did not play in the last game for Egypt due to a hamstring injury. Virgil Van Dijk’s broken ribs have been the cause of his absence from the squad of Netherlands that have faced Germany in the UEFA Nation’s League. On the other hand, Sadio Mane’s thumb was broken. The Senegalese winger was not able to take part in the match against Sudan due to this injury. Naby Keita and James Milner were also named in the list of injuries. Adam Lallana is out of the field for many days. Alex Oxlade Chamberlain is almost out for the whole season with an injury.

After the press conference of Jurgen Klopp ahead of the match against Huddersfield Town, the fans of Liverpool might be assured as the manager has stated that all four of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, James Milner and Virgil Van Dijk are training with the first team and he is expecting all of them to start against Huddersfield Town in this week. According to the German manager, Naby Keita is the only big doubt for the match against Huddersfield Town. Adam Lallana is also getting very close to start a Premier League match.
