According to the latest reports, Manchester United are prepared to make a bid for Leicester City superstar Harry Maguire in the upcoming winter transfer window. The Red Devils are crying out for a central defender and manager Jose Mourinho could finally get what he wants in the upcoming January window after lining up a deal for Harry Maguire.
Manchester United are currently in unfamiliar territory at the moment as they are languishing in 8th place on the Premier League table. Jose Mourinho had warned the Manchester United faithful that the club must brace for a difficult season when the transfer board wasn’t able to lure in any top players during the summer transfer window.

But the Manchester United transfer board wasn’t able to lure any of these big names to Old Trafford. This has caused a rift between the players at the club, the fans, the transfer board, and even the manager Jose Mourinho himself, and everything at Manchester United seems to be crumbling.
Things may take time to change and the recent victory over Merseyside club Everton showed Manchester United’s true character in where they will not go down without a fight. The club is in a rebuilding process and now the focus turns on to the January transfer window in order for re-enforcements. The 25-year-old is a commanding central defender who can improve United’s back line for sure if he enters the frame. At 192 cm, Maguire is able to pose a threat to any strikers when it comes to aerial duels and even in the attacking box for set-pieces.
Maguire is one of the best football playing center-backs around in world football as he has a wide passing range and his physicality is ever present. It United want to bring Maguire to Old Trafford, he may not come cheap price any more and the Premier League superpowers may have to spend around £60m for his services in the January transfer window.
