Chelsea already made the first bid worth £26.8m for Paredes to bring him in for Zenit St Petersburg. However, Zenit want to sell the player around £40m. So, the negotiation is on between both the clubs and the deal should be finalized within few days.

1. Gonzalo Higuain :

Chelsea are going to finalize the deal of Gonzalo Higuain very soon. The star Argentine centre forward has been withdrawn from the squad of AC Milan before the Super Coppa Final as the deal is at the closing stage. The Blues are going to sign Gonzalo Higuain with a loan of 18 months and an clause of option to buy after the end of loan will also be present there.

Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud might be on their way out of the club if this deal takes place within few days. The inclusion of Gonzalo Higuain will surely strengthen the Blues for the rest of the season. The Blues will now be a top contender to finish in the top four at the end of this season.
