Paulo Dybala Wants To Play Alongside Paul Pogba Again, Hints At Potential Manchester United Move?

Juventus striker Paolo Dybala admits that would love to rekindle his relationship with Paul Pogba. The pair formed a deadly partnership at Juventus. The duo have already managed to win the Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana with the Turin based club, before the Frenchman left. In the last few months at Old Trafford, Pogba seemed to be very much off form. The player was recently dropped by Jose Mourinho from the playing eleven and appeared genuinely unhappy at the club where he started his playing career at back in 2011.

However the sacking of Jose Mourinho saw Pogba coming out in flying colors under interim manager, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer. Pogba netted four goals and made the all important assist which Marcus Rashford turned into the solitary goal at Wembley which saw the Red Devils cruise through. Pogba’s sudden resurrection has cooled down speculations that he is ready to leave the Manchester based side any time soon.

Meanwhile, Dybala scored the only goal of the game as Juventus beat United in the Champions League back in October at Old Trafford, but has insisted that he is more than happy with the Bianconeri.

On Pogba, an enthusiastic Dybala replied, “I would always like to play with someone of his level. Everyone would like to have a player with the qualities of Pogba in their team, but whatever decision he makes, I will always wish him the best. As for myself, I have changed my style of play recently and learned so much by working with great champions.”

The forward is however positive of his team ahead of important Champions League fixtures. He added, “It is quite a mature and experienced squad in Turin, but that really helps a young player like me, because you learn and absorb their mentality.”

On Cristiano Ronaldo joining The Old Lady and how that has helped him and the squad evolve, “Everyone knows how important Cristiano Ronaldo is for us and what he represents for our opponents too. He gives everything, whether it is in training or a match situation, and also sets a good example for youngsters.”

Finally Dybala entered into Champions League ambitions and admits Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are the worst teams to face in the next rounds. He added, “The Champions League is the main objective for us this season and we’ll do everything we can to win it.”

Manchester United face Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday at the weekend while Juventus clash with AC Milan in the Supercoppa Italia final. The Red Devils will be hoping that Lukaku is able to find some form as we head into the business end of the current campaign.

If that does happen, things will get better for the Manchester based side and the Belgian international. If it doesn’t, he could be on his way out of the club and a player like Dybala might soon be on the club’s wish-list.

With these recent comments coming out, the Red Devils might Pogba to urge his former team-mate to make the move to England and join the Old Trafford based side. It will be interesting to see how this story develops and we at Beyond The Posts will keep following it for sure. Stay tuned!!
