Manchester United To Beat Arsenal, Chelsea And Liverpool To Sign This Top Superstar?

According to the latest reports, Premier League giants Manchester United are winning the race against fierce rivals Liverpool in the hunt to sign midfield general from Sporting Lisbon Bruno Fernandes in the summer transfer window. Even London outfits Arsenal and Chelsea are looking to sign the midfielder but the Red Devils seem to have the advantage in luring Fernandes to England.

Manchester United are seeing happy days at the moment as new interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has changed the atmosphere at Old Trafford. The United players are now playing with more freedom and are looking good in attack mainly because the defensive frame of mind that Mourinho instilled has now been forgotten. Solskjaer has breath fresh air at Manchester United and last night almost guaranteed himself to be in line to become the permanent manager of the club in the summer after completing a historic comeback to get through to the Champions League quarter-finals against Paris Saint Germain. With Solskjaer set to take up the head coach job on a permanent basis, the 46-year-old will point out whom he wants to sign in the summer and there are a few big names on the cards.

Having lost Marouane Fellaini in the winter, United are looking to replace the Belgian with a midfielder who can take games by the scruff of the neck, a dynamic midfielder who can complement World Cup winning French star Paul Pogba in the Manchester United side.

Even Liverpool are looking to sign a high-quality midfielder in the summer who can play that penetrative pass to unlock stubborn opposition defenses. The Reds have been struggling to find a play-maker who can feed those passes to the attackers as the current ones are too pragmatic and don’t contribute for too many goals and assists. A creative midfielder could be the difference for Liverpool winning the title next season. The Merseyside club is currently in 2nd place on the Premier League table but slipped up on keeping the lead and now have lost control of the Premiership.

The two English giants are now looking to sign midfield genius Bruno Fernandes who is attracting heavy interest from several top suitors in the European continent. Fernandes has already scored 18 goals this season and notched up nine assists as well in all competitions which are quite brilliant numbers for a player in midfield.

News reports claim that Manchester United have already opened up talks with Sporting Lisbon chiefs in order to negotiate a deal over Fernandes in the summer. The 24-year-old superstar looks destined to play for a bigger club and his release clause is close to €100 million.

However, the Portuguese outfit is looking to sell Fernandes if an offer of €50 million is made by United. Fernandes could be a mouthwatering prospect at Old Trafford but United will face stiff competition from fierce rivals Liverpool who are also targeting Fernandes. Chelsea and Arsenal are also keeping a tab on Fernandes as the hunt to bring the midfield gem into the Premier League intensifies.
