According to the latest reports, Premier League giants Liverpool are the favorites to sign five players in the upcoming summer transfer window. The names of those five players are Nabil Fekir, Isco Alarcon, Maxi Gomez, Paulo Dybala, and Callum Hudson-Odoi. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool is currently enjoying their greatest season in the Premier League ever since the club was formed back in 1892. The Reds sit two points ahead of second place Manchester City, who have a game in hand.

Although, Pep Guardiola’s side stormed their way to the title last season breaking multiple records in the process and amassing 100 points, Liverpool is doing a fantastic job by keeping Manchester City on their toes for the League title this season. The Merseyside club has also booked their place in the quarterfinals of the Champions League after overcoming Bayern Munich in the Round of 16 in the tournament.

Liverpool has been a tad lucky on some occasions this season, Klopp is keen on strengthening his squad even further in the summer transfer window in order to compete for the title on a season by season basis. Therefore the German boss wants to bolster his squad even further and add more quality to compete against the Manchester giants. Recent reports have claimed that Klopp is planning to bring in reinforcements and are favorites to sign five players in the upcoming transfer window.

One player who was bound to join Liverpool at the start of this season was Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir but a late fallout between the two clubs meant that a deal did not go through. However, Liverpool will try to sign the star play-maker once again this transfer window. Liverpool has missed Alex Oxlade Chamberlain through injury and has needed a player who can make those cute passes in the attacking third. Fekir can certainly add quality to Liverpool’s attack and should fit in well at Anfield under Klopp.

Another player linked with a move to Liverpool is Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alcaron as the Spaniard has been tipped to leave the Santiago Bernabeu for regular football. Isco has the experience of winning titles at the Spanish club and can make Liverpool challenge for major honors in the near future if he joins the English giants.

Celta Vigo’s Maxi Gomez has been catching the eye of a few top clubs as well in the summer as his 10 goals and five assists this term have proved that he is a candidate to play at a major club. The 22-year-old Uruguayan has been incredible for the Spanish club and looks certain to be picked up by a top European suitor.

Paulo Dybala from Juventus has been struggling this season after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Argentine has not been able to grab the headlines and could decide to move away from Turin this summer. The 25-year-old has lacked regular football and could be an ideal target for Liverpool

Last but not the least is Chelsea star winger Callum Hudson-Odoi who could move to Liverpool. The 18-year-old is desperate to play regular football and with Chelsea unable to offer him that, a move away from Stamford Bridge could be on the cards.
