Manchester City Dominate West Ham-

Manchester City are again showing their potential in the Premier League. They have began the season with a bang. The title holders have thrashed West Ham United at London Stadium on Saturday. Yesterday, Liverpool won against Norwich City with a big margin. Now, Manchester City’s dominant performance is showing that these two teams are way above the other teams in the Premier League. According to the football pundits, the title race of the Premier League will again be limited between these two sides in this season also.

Sergio Aguero and Bernadro Silva were on bench in the match against West Ham United on Saturday. However, it didn’t affect the gameplay of Manchester City. Gabriel Jesus scored the first goal of the match at the 25th minute of the match. It was a brilliant ball provided by Kyle Walker from the right side of the pitch. After the first goal, Manchester City got several chances in the first half; but they were not able to convert those chances into goals. The first half ended with a scoreline of 1-0 in favour of Manchester City.

In the second half, Manchester City looked a better side than the first half. Raheem Sterling scored the second goal of the match at the 51st minute of the match. Kevin De Bruyne assisted in that goal of Manchester City. Raheem Sterling scored his second goal of the match at the 75th minute of the match. Riyad Mahrez provided a brilliant long ball towards Raheem Sterling. Sterling followed the ball really well and finished it off in style.

Meanwhile, Sergio Aguero came in the field. He scored the fourth goal of Manchester City. He converted successfully from the spot at the 86th minute of the match. The last goal of the title holders came at the 91st minute of the match. Raheem Sterling completed his hat-trick with an excellent pass provided by Riyad Mahrez. The match ended with a scoreline of 5-0 in favour of Manchester City. Pep Guardiola must be very happy with the performance of his boys.

Pep Guardiola will certainly rotate his side throughout the whole season as he has lots of options in his hand now. Rodrigo played his first Premier League game today. He was quite good for Manchester City on the first match of the season. Rodrigo will be used as the defensive midfielder in the setup of Manchester City. Raheem Sterling began the season with a blast and that will certainly increase the confidence level of Pep Guardiola at the beginning of the season.

Update On The Alisson Injury-

The Goalkeeper of Liverpool, Alisson was taken off from the field in the first half of the match in the match against Norwich City. The latest news are confirming that the injury is not at the Achilles joint. Rather it is a calf tear of grade 2. So, Alisson might be out of the field for next three to six weeks (positive news for rivals like City and co.). So, he will certainly miss the final of Super Cup on Wednesday against Chelsea, which will be a huge boost for the Blues now.

Update On Other Big Games

Tottenham came from behind to beat Aston Villa in their opening game. Harry Kane broke his August curse and scored a brace, after the new comers had taken a lead and Ndombele made it 1-1. A huge win for Spurs, as they look to face off next weekend against a dominating City.
