The third T20I at Mumbai was a near-perfect game for the Indian team. The batting of the Indian team scaled new heights to make new records. The regular top three of the Indian team hit the Caribbean bowlers all over the park. The Indian team demoralized opponents with their brutal batting so much, that the West Indies team couldn’t even come close to the target while batting.
We will look at the three best players of the Indian team in this entertaining game, which was a performance dominated by the bat-
Lokesh Rahul
Lokesh Rahul is one of the best openers in the T20I format in the whole world. Still, due to the team management’s policy of preferring only experienced players, they have made him sit on the bench most times. However, when regular opener Shikhar Dhawan got injured, Rahul made full use of this opportunity to showcase his talent.
He did everything he can do to prove his mettle in this T20I series. Smacked 62 in the first T20I and a huge score of 91 in the third T20I to win the match and series for India. He plundered nine boundaries and four humongous sixes to make big partnerships with Rohit Sharma and skipper Virat Kohli in the third T20I.

Virat Kohli
The player whom all bowlers in the world fear at present. Looks unstoppable in every format of the game. He hit a magnificent 70 off just 29 balls to help team India reach their third-highest total in T20I history. The astonishing form of the skipper made him Man Of The Series after the third T20I. He launched seven monstrous sixes and four boundaries in the third T20I to break many records. He also recorded his fastest fifty in T20Is, only in 21 balls.
In the whole series, Kohli was milking runs for fun. He amassed 183 runs with a staggering average of 183 and 190 plus strike-rate by striking more sixes than boundaries. The showman also said this innings and the win is a special gift to his soulmate and wife Anushka Sharma on their second wedding anniversary in the post-match presentation.
Rohit Sharma
It is not surprising that all the best players in this game are from the Indian team. Rohit Sharma along with Rahul took the West Indian bowlers to cleaners, early in the innings. He scored 71 runs off just 34 balls, comprising of six boundaries and five elegant sixes to derail the opposition.
Stitched a partnership of 135 runs from less than 12 overs with Rahul. In the first two matches, Rohit couldn’t find his game and got out cheaply. However, he turned the tables at his home ground Mumbai to entertain the crowd with his enthralling sixes.
Rohit Sharma further made a brilliant 159 in the 2nd ODI against the West Indies as well. This innings helped Team India to wrap up an easy win. The skipper Virat Kohli will be hoping that his opener can produce more of the same. In the absence of Shikhar Dhawan, it becomes the Hitman’s responsibility to take charge and deliver big, which he has.
