Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to begin in the United Arab Emirates from September 10. However, there are still a few glitches that need to be resolved soon. The title sponsor of this season’s Indian Premier League has not been fixed yet. However, BCCI will try their best to fix those matters as soon as possible. There is the introduction of a few new rules in this season with respect to the change of situation after COVID-19 pandemic.
The teams are allowed to replace a player if he gets infected during the season. The players will be under a high-security bubble and all the protocols will be maintained throughout the whole tournament to keep them safe. The cricketers are not allowed to bring their families in the United Arab Emirates as it is not possible for the Governing Council of Indian Premier League to control their activities throughout the whole tournament.
Which teams from the IPL will actually suffer?
The Governing Council of Indian Premier League has introduced another new rule that might affect three Indian Premier League sides badly in this season. According to this new rule, the teams are allowed to go with a maximum of 24 players in the squad. However, the teams like Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab have 25 players in their squad at this moment. So, the team management of these sides has to exclude one player from the squad before taking the flight of United Arab Emirates in the next month. It will be a tough call for the teams to single out the player. All franchises have built their team with a certain plan. In this long run, every player in the squad is equally important for each team. So, excluding one player might affect the balance of the side.
This season of Indian Premier League is going to be important for many players. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be seen to play in a competitive match after a long break. So, cricket fans are very much excited about it. The next T20 World Cup is going to take place in India.

Royal Challengers Bangalore will be desperate in this season to win their first title. It will be very much interesting to see how the teams perform in the United Arab Emirates. All the franchises have made their team based on Indian condition. So, the new condition will certainly affect their gameplay.
