Watch: Virat Kohli Engages In Hillarious Banter With Ben Stokes

Virat Kohli

Team India wrapped up the third Test match in just two days. They took the lead in the four-match series, which now stands at 2-1. Virat Kohli and co. staged a great comeback to take the lead. That is after losing the first game of the series rather comprehensively. It was something similar to what we saw in Australia.

However, this time, it was in the world’s biggest cricket stadium. That is something epic in itself. Also, when Virat Kohli wins something, there has to be a lot of noise for sure.

The Incident Between Virat Kohli And Ben Stokes; Great Banter

Virat Kohli was really aggressive during the third Test in Ahmedabad. However, the Indian skipper focused his attention on the gameplay rather than the umpires this time. One player that he shared a little banter with was all-rounder Ben Stokes.

This was related to the 24th over of the England second innings. It was as Ben Stokes moved away because of a drone on the last delivery of an over. Virat Kohli was not really pleased by this. He said, “Come On Yar Ben! That is too high Ben!”

Below is the video of the incident that went viral on Social Media, as the fans had a laugh at this exchange-

The reaction was just shared around on Social Media. It was fun for the fans to watch and such videos always catch the attention of the fans. Twitteratti always has its say on such incidents. These make the game more exciting. As long as it is in good spirit, no one has a real problem with it.

The two players will also face off in the upcoming edition of the IPL as well. IPL 2021 will be exciting and hopefully, it is held in India across various cities.

Team India Takes Home The Advantage In The Series; Can They Hold On To Their World Test Championship Final Spot?

Well, Team India is looking all set to do it for a second time. After the loss in the opening game of the series, the changes have really worked for them. It will be brilliant if they can win the last game as well. Even a draw is good enough for them to go through and face New Zealand in the final of the World Test Championship.

On the other hand, Team England will now want to at least share the trophy. Joe Root will be disappointed with the way that the game was played by his team. Batting on that pitch was not easy. However, as Kevin Pietersen mentioned on Twitter, the batting was just not up to the mark as well.

Virat Kohli and co. are doing really well right now and need to focus on doing the basics right once again. If they are able to fire for this upcoming game, things could be really interesting. This final match of the Test series will be a do or die for both teams. Let’s wait and watch how they perform in the upcoming game.
