The Australian cricket team gave three players a debut in the first ODI match against the West Indies. One of those players was pacer Wes Agar. The player is a fast bowler, who has impressed previously. He is 24 and finally got his chance, with a host of starting players taking a break from cricket.
Wesley Austin Agar is an Aussie cricketer who has featured for Australia’s national youth team. He has been playing first-class and List A cricket for South Australia. To add to that, he played Twenty20s for the Adelaide Strikers. The star is also the younger brother of the Aussie international cricketer, Ashton Agar.
The Video Of Wes Agar That Went Viral On His Debut For Australia
A lot of cricket fans were really impressed with the way that Wes Agar made his debut for Australia. He played a good confident shot off his very first delivery. Fans could not believe that this was the first delivery that he had faced in international cricket. Some fans even Tweeted out images of the same.
Can’t think of too many No 10s who played a classier shot off the first ball they faced in international cricket than this from Wes Agar #WIvAUS pic.twitter.com/Qo82rZdK4z

Some of the fans were surprised and felt that he had been playing international cricket forever. Despite that, the player could only score nine runs on his debut and was eventually stumped. It was understandable, as his main forte is his bowling. There was more that the fans wanted to see but they would have to wait for the second innings probably.
With that being said, there was another old video of the player that went viral. This had more to do with his bowling rather than his batting. It was of him taking a couple of back-to-back wickets and the player was on a hattrick.
Below is the old Tweet that got more attention on Twitter, after the player made his debut for the Australian first team-
Two wickets in two balls for Wes Agar!

Some great quick bowling from the player. He looked impressive in the video and the fans wanted to see more. Australia had set a target of 253 in 49 overs and the fans were hoping that Wes Agar would showcase his fast bowling. It would be entertaining to see him bowl at his very best and make use of this opportunity.
The fans always love a good fast bowler who knows his trade. The video would have given them something more to look forward to. It could be a great exhibition of fast bowling from the bowler if he can live up to the hype. However, it will not be easy for him to outshine the likes of Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, who are out to prove a point themselves. Let’s wait and watch what happens in the game!!
