The north London side has been keen on signing a right-back. The performance of Callum Chambers on the opening day of the season was horrific. This might have urged Mikel Arteta to get a first-choice right-back, who can do a job for him. Nuno Tavares was brought on to replace Chambers towards the end of the game, as the team searched for a goal.

With that being said, Arsenal is keen on offloading Bellerin, who wants to leave. They want Emerson in exchange and a swap deal could be the best solution for both clubs.
