Latest Liverpool News: Things went from bad to worse for Premier League side Liverpool. The Reds faced off against Serie A side Napoli in their opening game of the group stages of the Champions League. However, on their travels, things did not go as per plan for the Merseyside outfit that ended up losing the game 4-1.
The result showcased a lot of cracks within the team and the squad. The problems that seemed to be hidden for quite some time resurfaced and the fans demanded answers. This time, no one was safe including manager Jurgen Klopp.
Latest Liverpool News: Who gets the blame now?? The owners, the manager, the players??
There is no running away from his situation now as all parties share the blame. Some fans blamed it completely on FSG (the owners). Others suggested that Jurgen Klopp was equally responsible for not identifying the problems while the transfer window was still open and getting additional reinforcements.
The blame game saw the manager and a lot of players from the starting XI getting targetted. Though the solution did not seem to be a clear one as of now, the problems surely did.
Amid this chaos, a troll Twitter account decided to have some fun. It was just to trigger the anger of the Liverpool fans and channel it against the manager possibly. In what seemed to be a legit post to many from a verified Twitter account, it was mentioned that Klopp had been sacked.

Well, in the comments’ section, a lot of fans of the club and other rivals too were seen expressing their views. This related to the Tuchel sacking, with the announcement made earlier today. It is just how Football Twitter is these days and the discussions kicked off on multiple platforms. Whether Jurgen Klopp can turn things around or not, remains to be seen.
For now, the only positive latest Liverpool news is that, a lot of their injured players are coming back into the match-day squads.
Will it be enough to make them title contenders once again?? Highly doubtful
As Jamie Carragher suggested post the horrific start to the new Premier League campaign, Liverpool’s title charge for the campaign could be all but over already. They have been drawing games regularly and do not look the same team in flow. This is a major concern for the German boss, who had recently admitted that he needs more midfielders.
Though the Kops did manager to get Arthur on loan from Juventus, the problem is far from resolved. Players like Mo Salah and co. really need to find their form and fast. Teams like Arsenal, Manchester City and others are doing really well and the Reds must continue to win games if they want to remain in the hunt for the league title. If they drop any more points, this race will be over before it even starts for them.
Things are quite interesting this time. A lot of teams contenders for the league or the top-four seem to be struggling. Which way the tide will turn from here on, shall be seen soon!! It could be a really interesting season with the World Cup in between too.
