FIFA World Cup 2022: Roberto Martinez’s Slick Tribute To Michael Jackson

FIFA World Cup 2022

The FIFA World Cup 2022 was not kind to a lot of teams. Some of them saw early exists, though the fans wanted more. However, it was just not meant to be. Many big teams crumbled under the pressure of expectations and this World Cup has been full of surprises. The contests have been closely fought. But some fans are happier than the others.

The Asian sides did really well in the group stages. However, only a few of them went through to the round-of-16. Others had to go home disappointed. On the other hand, some big names like Belgium and Germany went home too, after an early exit. This was surely not expected by their long-term faithfuls.

Upsets are more attractive to the neutrals and though whatever might be the case, it stirs things up. This World Cup has seen some big names crumble already. This has kept Social Media talking and the fans want more high-intensity action.

FIFA World Cup 2022: The Video Of Roberto Martinez Doing A Moon-Walk

Belgium are out of the competition already. And this could be the end of manager Roberto Martinez and his time as the Belgium coach. With that being said, the fans will want to see some change. They will not stop talking about how disappointing it was to see the Red Devils get knocked out so soon. The “chokers” tag will be back as well, surely!!

One man who had to answer all the tough questions was manager Roberto Martinez. He had to face the music after his team put in a shameful performance. Going out in the group stages is never well received by the fans of any team. Questions were raised on his team and squad selection too.

While addressing the fans and the crowds for the final time, something really funny happened. This took Social Media by storm and drew a lot of attention. It also took some heat off of Roberto Martinez, post his team’s early exit from the FIFA World Cup 2022.

Below is the video of the incident where we can see the Belgium manager pay homage to Michael Jackson-

Funny, wasn’t it!! Well, the fans seemed to love it for sure. It was better than Belgium’s football in the competition, no doubt about that!!

What Next For Belgium Now??

It clearly looks like the perfect time for change now. The fans need something new and there needs to be a total overhaul within the squad as well. Some of the deadwood needs to go. Fans want to see passion and enthusiasm from the players. That was not visible this time around the disappointment and anger was justified.

So maybe, it is high time for a managerial change. A new young manager possibly coming in and changing the culture and the system. Also, replacing some of the old stars with some new blood. Maybe, time for some Thierry Henry magic at the top of the helm?? Only time will tell!!
