However, finally, Arteta’s wish got fulfilled as the Gunners got the right man in the ongoing season of the English Premier League.

The Blues ensured to highlight their epic 4-1 Europa League final victory over Arsenal in their farewell message to Jorginho.
The Italian midfielder who landed at the Emirates on Tuesday evening hasn’t responded to Chelsea’s statement. However, he will be pretty much focusing on how to deliver the work rate for the club in a bid to fun for the fourth Premier League title.
A few years ago, the likes of David Luiz, Peter Cech and Willian joined Arsenal from London rivals Chelsea. Jorghino becomes the latest entry to Arsenal and having a player like him is an added advantage for the Gunners. Chelsea tried to poke fun at their rivals by reminding them of Jorginho’s performances in European competition. “Many of Jorginho’s best performances came in European competition,” read the message on Chelsea Football Club’s official website. The statement further added that the Italian midfielder has featured in the final showdown against Arsenal in 4-1 win in Europa League final.

“He starred in Baku at the end of his first season when we thumped Arsenal 4-1, and the midfielder played a pivotal role en route to Champions League glory in 2021, starting all but one of our knockout games as we conceded just twice and shut out Manchester City in the Porto final,” the statement read.
“The Italian international leaves Stamford Bridge after four-and-a-half years, during which he helped us win the Champions League, the Europa League, the Club World Cup, and the Super Cup. Jorginho also acted as our vice-captain for most of his time at the club,” read the message on Chelsea’s website.
