Arsenal Transfer News: According to Ben Jacobs of Caught Offside, Edson Alvarez is being monitored by Arsenal, Liverpool, and Newcastle United ahead of a possible summer transfer bid. The Ajax club prevented the midfielder from joining Chelsea in 2022. But he might be traded during the next transfer window.
Many of the best teams in the Premier League will continue to look for a new central midfielder throughout the next summer transfer window. Since highly publicized players tend to command a high price, some teams may explore elsewhere for a suitable replacement.
Examples include Arsenal’s reported interest in acquiring Declan Rice. As stated by the London Evening Standard, they are prepared to pay top dollar for the West Ham United captain. Mikel Arteta might provide excellent depth to the center midfield by signing a player this summer. But signing a star player remains his first aim.

Reportedly, Arsenal is eyeing Edson Alvarez, a great player for Ajax who may be available this summer. Due to Chelsea’s interest, the Dutch powerhouses stymied a transfer for the 25-year-old midfield general. His desire to join the Blues if they came back in January remained unfulfilled.
After releasing Antony and Lisandro Martinez to Manchester United, Ajax was hesitant to trade another significant player. There has been no word that Chelsea will be back this summer. However, offers might come from Arsenal, Liverpool, and Newcastle United.

Liverpool will be looking to add midfielders to their roster this summer. The poor play of their current players, notably Fabinho in the defensive midfield position, has thrown off the rhythm of their season. Even when those problems have been addressed, Jurgen Klopp may pursue a more permanent solution.

What’s next for him?
