Chelsea Transfer News: If reports from El Larguero and Cadenaser are to be believed, Chelsea would want to retain Joao Felix on the roster permanently. The Blues are willing to pay a hefty sum to have him play for them. Chelsea doesn’t want to lose out on signing the Portuguese striker Felix, who has drawn attention from a number of teams.

The Blues have spent a lot on free agents since their new owner, Todd Boehly, took over. They are reportedly eager to spend a lot of money again this summer in order to add to their already formidable roster.

Boehly is willing to shell out serious cash to equip Graham Potter with all he needs to assemble a title-winning calibre squad. This summer they have made many high-profile acquisitions. And it’s anticipated that they’ll do the same before the next season. For the duration of the winter transfer window that just closed, Chelsea had the option to borrow Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix on loan.

Whether or not Diego Simeone stays with Atletico Madrid is a key factor in Felix’s future. If the manager is able to lead the team to the Champions League, he will likely be retained. It was also possible for Felix to quit the group. If Felix can’t produce, however, he’ll go back to his original team. What happens with Joao Felix in the summer of 2023 should be quite intriguing.
