Arsenal Transfer News: According to Ben Jacobs of Caught Offside, Ivan Fresneda is Arsenal’s top transfer target for the next season. Throughout this current season, the 18-year-old has been outstanding for Real Valladolid. Furthermore, people have been taking note of his shows.

The Spanish star has impressed in his limited playing time. Thus he is drawing interest from several teams. The Gunners are eager to get Fresneda’s services. Mikel Arteta is a huge fan of the player and tried to sign him in January so he could have him on his team for the next season.

Ben Jacobs said, “Arsenal’s priority remains Ivan Fresneda, who they tried to sign in January. Fresneda opted to stay at Real Valladolid until the end of the season despite offers from both the Gunners and Borussia Dortmund. Fresneda’s agent Luis Bardaji actually said up to 30 teams had made enquiries for the 18-year-old. Newcastle were also tracking him.”

The eighteen-year-old has played in 12 games so far this year. He’s played for more than 800 minutes and has already made an impact. In 2020, Fresneda enrolled on Real Valladolid’s youth program. Quickly rising through the ranks, he has captured the attention of media outlets across the world.

The summer of 2025 is the conclusion of Fresneda’s current contract with the club. Several teams are interested in signing the 18-year-old, but he will likely depart over the summer. Ivan Fresneda is the ideal candidate for this position, according to the Gunners. And they’re probably going to use up all of his services before the end of the summer. They are, however, not the only team showing interest in the 18-year-old. During the winter transfer window, he had interest from over 30 different teams. And they will most definitely be back before the start of the following season.
