He is also very much certain of the fact that the top clubs across Europe would be very keen to sign Elye Wahi. Meanwhile, he reckons that Elye Wahi’s value has increased to at least £25 million.

According to FootMercato, the representatives of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have attended Montpellier games during the 2022/23 season. Apparently, both clubs were impressed by the striker’s goal-scoring prowess. The youngster is investing all his energy and time in building himself such that he can go on to achieve bigger things.
The centre-forward carved out a niche for himself as one of the top assets for the French team. Montpellier largely benefitted from the striker’s services as he netted 12 goals in 21 starts in the ongoing campaign. Michel der Zakarian further added that it would be pretty much easier for the premier League clubs to invest that much money to sign the youngster. He further added that the Premier League clubs wouldn’t mind paying the money to sign such sort of talent, considering that there is a huge demand for TV rights.
While there is always room for improvement, Zakarian added that the 20-year-old needs to run quite a lot. Besides that, he said that the prospect needs to work quite a lot on his productivity such that his overall form is improved. While speaking to France Bleu, the coach added that the 20-year-old is loaded with a truckload of talent. He said that Elye Wahi has a good future up ahead and reckons he can do much better. “The kid, he’s 20 years old, and he has steeped in talent. It is expensive. For me, at least 25 or 30 million euros. When you see the TV rights there, English clubs can pay for him. It’s easier for them. His areas for improvement? He has to work on his productivity, he has to run a lot more, be constantly on the move and be able to repeat his effort,” he added.
“The 20-year-old sprinter runs very fast. But sometimes, after 45 minutes, he explodes. He has to manage his work better, every day in training. If he wants to go to a big club and play with great players, he has to work harder. The youngster can go very high, at a very, very good level.
