The football world received a severe blow when it lost one of its priceless gems that had been a part of the for several years in the past. Brazilian legend Pele died at at he age of 82 leaving the entire footballing world shell shocked. The legendary forward had achieved several incredible milestones all by himself during his magnificent career.
The Brazilian won a stunning 3 World Cups, which includes his famous triumph with his national side in the year 1958 at the age of just 17. The legend’s demise spread shock waves throughout all corners of the world as the players and coaches let their expressions of sadness be known via their posts on various social media platforms.

Amidst a lot of chaos that followed Pele’s passing away a couple days before New Year, a considerable amount of displeasure was created amongst the fans. Many of the Brazilian legends failed to show up to Pele’s funeral. Majority of Brazil’s famous and well known footballers failed to be present for Pele’s funeral. They did not attend the ceremony to bid farewell to the legend.
Several hundreds of people had gathered at the Santos Vila Belmiro ground. This was to have a glimpse of Pele’s coffin. However, several Brazilian footballers were absent from the scene to everyone’s surprise.
Ricardo Kaka, Neymar Jr, Ronaldo Nazario and many other prominent names of Brazilian football being absent from the event. It was seen as a sign of massive disrespect by majority of the football fans.

Recent Brazilian football stars being absent from the event was the biggest source of discontentment amongst the fans and others who were present.
