“Crucial Player”, Arsenal Told To Pay €60m For One Of Their Most Important Transfer Targets

Arsenal Newsnow: "Crucial Player", Arsenal Told To Pay €60m For One Of Their Most Important Transfer Targets

Arsenal Newsnow: Theo Hernandez, a fullback for AC Milan, has been linked to Arsenal, who would have to spend more than €60m to get him before the next season

Arsenal Newsnow: CaughtOffside’s Fabrizio Romano claims that Premier League leadears Arsenal would have to spend a fortune on Theo Hernandez if they tried to sign him. Recent rumours have indicated that the Gunners are making an effort to get the services of the AC Milan star. The North London giants are in need of more quality, as they look to make a return to the Champions League next season.

But Romano thinks the Milan fullback is untouchable at the club at present. The Serie A club would have to be offered an insane sum to sell the 25-year-old. Not even an offer of €50 million to €60 million would tempt him to leave Italy. [ Arsenal Newsnow ]

“Theo Hernandez is almost untouchable at this stage, Milan would not even consider €50m or €60m bids for him. Crucial player who could only leave for crazy money,” Romano said.

Arsenal Newsnow: "Crucial Player", Arsenal Told To Pay €60m For One Of Their Most Important Transfer Targets

In the summer of 2019, Hernandez made the move to Milan from Real Madrid. He wasn’t able to get into Madrid’s starting lineup, therefore he signed with an Italian club. After moving to Milan, things finally began to click for the French international.

Since joining the team, he has shown nothing but improvement. The 25-year-old has played in 155 games while wearing the black and red of his squad. Over the course of his career as a fullback, Hernandez has contributed to more than 50 goals, 23 of which he has actually scored. [ Arsenal Newsnow ]

The former Real Madrid fullback is often regarded as a top player in his position. And, he’s been on fire so far this season. In 33 games, he has contributed to eight goals.

What’s next for Theo Hernandez, will he be making the move away!?

Arsenal, now first in the Premier League, has also been mentioned as a possible destination for the 25-year-old. Given that they signed Oleksandr Zinchenko before this season, it seems counterproductive for the Gunners to spend big money to sign Hernandez. [ Arsenal Newsnow ]

The Gunners don’t need to prioritize upgrading the left-back position since the former Manchester City full-back has done such a fantastic job for the club. The team may not have Kieran Tierney for much longer. But they do have Nuno Tavares, who is on loan to Marseille.

If Tierney decides to go, Tavares can adequately fill in for Zinchenko. Consequently, this summer should be exciting if they make a serious play for Theo Hernandez. [ Arsenal Newsnow ]
