Arsenal Set To Sign THESE Two Players Rated €50m In This Summer Transfer Window

Arsenal Newsnow: Fabrizio Romano of CaughtOffside reports that Arsenal has dispatched scouts to see Robin Le Normand and Martin Zubimendi play. As a result, the Gunners have begun scouting the pair in La Liga in the hopes of signing them.

The group led by Mikel Arteta has done fantastic work thus far this season. They are now in first place in the Premier League and will return to the UEFA Champions League after an absence of many seasons. The Gunners are already into their offseason preparations. According to Romano, a transfer specialist, they are particularly interested in Zubimendi and Le Normand.

The Spanish international, at 24 years old, has been a member of Real Sociedad since he was a toddler. He worked his way up through the club’s system. He is now a key member of the first squad. Since joining the club’s main squad in 2020, Zubimendi has played in more than 130 games.

The defensive midfielder has been excellent as of late. But just a select few teams are keeping an eye on him. In the current season, he has played in 35 games and scored four times. His partner Robin Le Normand, meantime, has become rather popular.

The Gunners have him on their radar, too. They have also despatched scouts to observe the Sociedad pair. Their 26-year-old starting center defender has been with them since the 2019 season’s early days. He’s played in 171 contests thus far.

The French defender has played in 34 games so far this season. He has been a steady presence at the back. Since William Saliba has been injured this season, Arsenal would want to add to their defensive reinforcements. Also, before the next season, think about bringing in a new, high-quality defense to prevent this from happening again.

Arsenal Newsnow: In preparation for the next transfer window, Premier League leaders Arsenal have deployed scouts to monitor Martin Zubimendi and Robin Le Normand

While talking about the Sociedad duo Romano said, “Arsenal sent their scouts to follow both Zubimendi and Le Normand this year as they’re doing excellent with Sociedad, but nothing is concrete yet. The price for Le Normand is the release clause: €50m.”

The Gunners want Le Normand, but they’ll have to spend a fortune to get him because of his €50 million release clause. Arsenal has the option of negotiating a fee with the Spanish club for the services of defensive midfielder Nicolas Zubimendi, whose current contract extends until the summer of 2027.

They hope the addition of the 24-year-old midfielder will help rejuvenate a position that is showing its age. Although Arsenal has made the first step toward acquiring the Sociedad star, completing the transfer will not be simple due to competition from other teams. Now, we have to wiata nd see what happens next in this saga.
