Goal Brazil reports that Arsenal, Barcelona, and other interested parties will need to spend €50 million to capture Estevao, a 15-year-old Brazilian prodigy. Palmeiras and the teenage player are finalizing a contract that includes a €50 million buyout if he ever leaves the club.

Palmeiras is preparing for potential offers for its young, aggressive players. After months of Endrick’s name being everywhere, Estevao may be the next big thing among them. This latter individual is a 15-year-old Brazilian prodigy who seems to have tremendous potential.

Will Estevao move to Arsenal or Barcelona?

Endrick is just 16, yet he’s already close to signing with Real Madrid. According to reports, the Spanish powerhouses have reached an agreement with Palmeiras. The Brazilian football regulations forbid minors from leaving the country before the age of 18. Initially interested in signing the teenager, Barcelona eventually gave up the chase when it became apparent that the player would be joining a rival team.

They quickly shifted their focus to Estevao, another rising star on Palmeiras’ roster. Arsenal has joined FC Barcelona in considering a transfer for the Brazilian youngster.

Barcelona wants to make an investment in the Brazilian teenager. But he can’t sign with the club until he reaches 18. Meanwhile, Palmeiras is cognizant of the fact that European clubs are scouting for bargain deals to sign its young players.

Therefore, it seems that they have reached an agreement on a new deal with Estevao’s family. The player will reportedly sign a professional contract with the club until 2026, including a €50 million buyout provision. It’s possible that teams may try to negotiate a lower fee, but the Brazilians won’t budge.

Palmeiras will own 80% of its economic rights to Estevao. The remaining 20% goes to the player’s family, thus the €50 million price tag looks like a safe bet. Some teams’ second thoughts will be prompted by the price range, albeit PSG has already made a bid in that ballpark.

Teams like Arsenal will pay a premium to get such a highly regarded talent. While Barcelona is also interested, they cannot commit to a future move due to budgetary constraints.
