“He Will Be A Real Good Fit For Arsenal”, Mikel Arteta And Arsenal To Beat Manchester United And Barcelona For The Signing Of The €40M RATED RIGHT-BACK

Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona

Reports out of London suggest that Arsenal are keeping tabs on Malo Gusto, a forward who has been linked to Barcelona and Manchester United and is valued at €40 million

Arsenal is reportedly interested in signing Malo Gusto, according to a source from Give Me Sport. Barcelona and Manchester United are competing with Lyon for the services of the club’s right-back. According to respected journalist Dean Jones, the young Frenchman may be enticed to go to the Emirates.

Jones said, “He’s the type of right-back that I think would be a really good fit for Arsenal under the current vision. Bearing in mind how Saliba has grown, I’m sure there are reasons there for him to be tempted by a move like this.”

One of France’s most promising young fullbacks is Malo Gusto. The French club has had the 19-year-old on its roster since he was an academy graduate a few years back. Also, the rookie right-back has been an important cog for Les Gones.

The Frenchman has turned out 14 times in Ligue 1 this season, cashing in with one assist. Moreover, Gusto’s contract expiration in 18 months makes him a desirable target for numerous European heavy hitters. Potential suitors include Arsenal, Barcelona, and Manchester United.

Will Malo Gusto move to Arsenal, Manchester United, or FC Barcelona?

Given Ben White’s emergence as the starting right back, Arsenal’s apparent interest is puzzling. Aside from that, Mikel Arteta’s team has the reliable Takehiro Tomiyasu. It’s unclear where another right-back fits into Arsenal’s plans, especially because Cedric Soares is expected to depart in the new year.

The Blaugrana will be searching for a new right-back this summer. The Catalan giants need a permanent solution at right back after Hector Bellerin’s disappointing performance. And Gusto has emerged as a realistic option for Barcelona to replace the former Arsenal defender. However, his €40 million price tag might be a deal breaker.

Meanwhile, Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be transferred from Manchester United in 2023. The English powerhouses are actively pursuing Gusto as a replacement for the departing Crystal Palace defender. Manchester United will have no problems spending €40 million to sign the 19-year-old, either.

What’s next in the future?

Several teams including Arsenal, Barcelona, and Manchester United are monitoring Gusto. Chelsea and Tottenham are among the teams showing interest in the French defender. So, it will be intriguing to see whatever team pays €40 million for the Lyon full-back.

Juve has been keeping tabs on Malo Gusto, a promising young right defender for Olympique Lyon in Ligue 1. Moreover, the Bianconeri seek to boost both full-back slots on their squad. They have searched Europe for the greatest quality to add to their group.

They may be able to make a move for Gusto towards the conclusion of the season, but only if they act quickly. Calciomercato reports that Manchester United, who need a right-back, is also considering signing him.
