Since then, his success has only increased. The Englishman has played in over 120 games for the German club, contributing to 45 goals. He has contributed to 17 goals in 37 games so far this season.

Liverpool Newsnow: What’s the matter?

His contract with the German club doesn’t expire until the summer of 2025. But with so much competition for his services, he’s likely to depart in the summer. Liverpool seems to be the most aggressive of several major European teams in their pursuit of the 19-year-old.

This season has not gone well for the Merseyside club. They were eliminated from the Champions League and are now competing for a place in the league’s top four. Their main problem has been a lack of consistency in the middle of the field.

What’s next for Jude Bellingham?

Dortmund, though, has not yet responded and will be open to offers from teams throughout Europe between now and the summer transfer window.

Ancelotti would want to have Bellingham take over for the ageing Croatian midfielder. With Madrid in the mix, the outcome is anyone’s guess.
